What strange things do your pets like to eat??

What strange things do your pets like to eat?
Both of our cats like yogurt & vegemite. If we're eating either of these they sit there waiting for a taste.
One of the cats likes ham but only off a pizza, green capsicum, risotto, corn chips & corn. If we're having corn we'll give her the cob after & she goes nuts!!
The other would love to eat chocolate icing off a cake but we'd never let her.
They both only eat the little expensive tins of cat food & would rather starve than eat the ones that come in a pouch or bigger tin. Trust me, I tried & they won!!
Anyone else have pets as weird as ours?

Our dog has a peg and sock fetish...if a peg happens to fall off the clothes line or out of the basket then he'll crunch it up and bye bye peg!!

Food-wise he'll eat just about anything...most recently DF gave him a couple of marshmallows...he absolutely loved them!

my gorgeous cat will only eat goose liver or chicken liver pate on water crackers

she drools over chicken stirfry with ginger, garlic & chilli

she will only eat dark brown M&Ms (when she is allowed them - and she's ever only allowed one or two licks before it is thrown out)

she doesn't like supermarket bought dry food - it MUST come from the pet store

wont eat tinned cat food but loves "human" tuna (as in tuna humans eat)

Our dogs hate KFC chips but love Maccas ones!

Max also ate raw brocolli that dropped on the floor when I chopped it up the other day!

Our cat would only eat fresh Chicken, fish, mince or steak. Her origional owner ran a resort and the kitchen staff would feed her off cuts, so I had to keep up the tradition

And we had to stop the kids playing with water bombs around the dog because he loves to eat them, and cardboard.

My cat loves rice crackers - goes nuts and drools if you don't give her some. My dog loves pumpkin and corn which is quite strange for a dog I think.

Benny loved cheese on toast, it was the one thing I would bribe him back with when he decided to live next door (only cat to abondon us, very rude since we got him from the RSPCA)
Fizzy had a thing for twisties.
Old Puss loved sponge cake. I baked a pair for my brothers birthday and had left them to cool before sandwiching. Came in a found a hole eaten in one, 15cm wide by 1cm deep. Cheeky old thing.

OMG. My cat LOVES chocolate (not that she's allowed to have any, but if she can scrounge a few crumbs that I drop, she's all over them), cakes, biscuits, ice-cream (which is unfortunate because it gives her the runs and she makes a HUGE mess lol), potato crisps and McDonald's fries.

I also discovered this morning that the kittens like Vegemite - DD had smeared it all over the shoulder of my shirt and when I went in to play with them, the three of them were all over me, licking the patches of Vegemite off lol (yes, I'm laaaazy, I couldn't be @rsed changing hahaha, wasn't going anywhere!).

Our dog... I can't figure her out! She flat-out refuses to eat dog food - kibble, tinned food, even those jerky straps that dogs are meant to go nuts over? Nope. Won't go near them. Won't eat raw meat (except chicken). Won't eat cooked meat, except steak. Won't touch anything unless she has seen DH and I eating it, and even then won't eat it unless we put our plate on the floor with leftovers on it - if we scrape it into her bowl, she turns her nose up at it. She has to go outside or in the laundry when I'm feeding DD, because DD mucks around and is distracted while she's eating and the dog just runs up and steals it from her (resulting in a tanty from DD lol) - Weetbix, baby food, plastic cheese, Vegemite or peanut butter sandwiches, cheerios... half the time she just runs off with it and doesn't eat it, I think DD is just an easy target lol (DH and I give her 'the look' if she comes near us while we're eating and she backs off lol).
(If anybody has any tips on how to get her to eat lol... because there are days where she will starve rather than eat the food she's offered, unless I save her some of our dinner she just goes hungry !!)

Our sheepdog eats wheat and barley - if there is a bucket of it sitting where she can get it, which is fairly often considering she always goes with DH to feed the sheep, she will have a little nibble while they are driving along. But then most dry dog food is made from that anyway, so it's not all that unusual I suppose.

Lol Trillian. It's a bit weird to eat it "raw" though! On a slightly different note...we hand raised a lamb that went nuts over dog biscuits...it got to the stage where the dog's bowls had to be put right at the back of their kennels, otherwise the lamb would climb halfway in the kennels and eat the biscuits. She had the dogs all fooled as they wouldn't even try to chase her away! She'd even manage to get the lid off the big 44 gallon drum the biscuits were kept in just to get to them. I'm sure she thought she was a dog, not a sheep!

^ Ah yes, ours won't leave us alone when I'm changing DD... and we have to get a new bin because if I leave the house, I come home to find the nappy sack torn open and the dog eating whatever's left after I've scraped the icky bits into the toilet :/
