Question Cloth Wipes... which fabric to use?

    Hi All

I'm easing myself into this cloth nappy thing and was thinking of making myself some cloth wipes to use, since I'll be washing regularly, it may save some $$$ instead of using the disposable wipes. Then once I am a bit braver I might even consider making my own MCN....

But what fabric is best for the wipes? Does anyone know fabrics that can go in the tumble dryer and also are soft enough for wiping little bottoms?

    Thanks for any help!

(mods - if this is in the wrong place please move )

I made mine with terry towelling on 1 side and flanellette on the other. For hospital though I am just getting a big pack of cheapo face washers.

Burley knit terry is my fave! Soft and grabby! I just cut mine up, no sewing needed. Not sure where you would get some in Aus though...
