    Hi PP.

Oh wow a move is happening hey, very exciting!!!

Nambucca Heads is a smallish town, very quite and laid back ....very different to the rat race of Brisbane but if your looking for a nice peaceful change then thats the place to be. Having said that it has been a couple of years since i have been there and it quite possibly could have grown in that time.

Sorry but i have no idea about the other place your asking about. I wish you all the very best for the move and i hope your new life where ever you may end up is everthing you dreamed it to be.

Nambucca is pretty small, but we are getting a Macca's Lol!!
Hyland Park is smaller, you come into Nambucca, then turn off. Its 2 - 3 kms out. There aren't any shops & if you are looking for quiet, thats the place to be
Its on the river, I don't think the beach is near there, but its only back to Nambucca, then another few kms round the main st to head to the beaches.
I've had alot to do with Macksville hospital over the years. In general its good. It has an old, small maternity ward, which is still in use as far as I know, but for low risk. 2nd - 4th pg, over 18, under 35, things like that.
No kids ward. They get sent up to Coffs. Its still a hospital though, most small hospitals these days are multi purpose services.
I know you aren't looking at schools for a while, but there are 2 public, one private in Nammy. One high school, but Macksville is only about 12 kms down the road with, I think, another 1 or 2 public, & 1 private. With a high school also.
Steer clear of Newville (near the roundabout on google earth, some streets in there are ok, but some aren't so great.) Yes, there's only 1 roundabout, lol
We've been in the area for 8 years. (Nambucca/Scotts Head) we did move away, but my mum has always been here.
Its a great spot. I love it here

    yay BJ!
i was hoping you would pop in

Ok Nambucca i think is the best sounding place for us.
I just dont know how i am going to find a house living 500km away , it is such a pain finding a place and timing removalists etc.

DH might have to go down first to meet the removalist and i stay back and clean and drive the kids down a couple of days afterwards...

But super excited! might need to ring a few real estates to see if there is any properties coming available end of june?

Has it gotten cold all of a sudden down there? Brissy seems to have hit a cold snap - might need to stock up on winterys for the babies

Its really cold at night. Warmish through the day, but not hot iykwim.
Just nice in the sun, cool in the shade, lol.
There is one RE that might give you the run around. Treated everyone I know that's used them like crap, unless they are personal friends. Think blue...1st...
They usually have the best places though Bradleys used to be great & Ray White were excellent when we were with them. Inspiration is relitively new, but she is nice.
Can't remember what others there are.
Coming to find a place would be easiest. I stayed with mum & dad while I found a place, but I wanted to be here & its alot smaller & harder to find a place.
There are holiday houses you could stay in til you find somewhere.

thats our other option - would be holiday house, storage and a second move - it just adds another $1500 odd to the already $3500 removalist cost arrrrrrrrrr

there is the option of coming down queens birthday weekend to inspect - but not sure of our luck on a weekend oragnising inspections??

i know which RE you mean! ta - will remember lol

    Thats true about the removalists.
Umm, if you organise it now, you might ba able to look at places on the Saturday. Its really only if there are people in there it might be harder, but there's still plenty of time.
Have you checked out realestate.com.au? A few advertise on there. They are usually empty, or close to it.
Anyway, I hope you work something out. Without too much drama
