    What would you recommend?

    I think I have pertussis.

I thought it was just a regular cold I get every winter. It acted just like one... for the first week. Now all but one symptom is gone. The cough... and it is relentless. I get minimal break from it and it comes in fits that can last a good couple of minutes. Nothing at all reduces its severity - I have tried everything because every muscle in my lower abdomen and pelvic area - including my pelvic floor - are aching like mad and buckling under the pressure.

The page I am on says its 70-100% contagious in the household and that incubation can take up to 21 days... I just thought Harry just missed out on getting it - it could just be waiting to strike. His last infanrix hexa shot was only a couple of days ago. (24.11.06 - 19.02.09 - 11.05.09 for all three)

Should I go to the doc and get an official diagnosis and Haz on antibugs just in case?

    What would you do?

ETA: All the other kids are fully immunised so in theory, shouldn't suffer badly through it if it is.
