Anyone had Nausea and vomitting from AF?

    Ok heres the story

I had my first AF since 2006 5 weeks ago. (been pg of BF rest of the time)
2 weeks ago i had nausea start, thought i ate something bad and had a tummy bug .

But every time since i hopped into a car i got the worst motion sickness.

The past week we have had viral colds floating around the house but i have thrown up twice and been nauseated big time for days.

I thought maybe AF is due again - had light bright red spotting on wiping (this morning) but nothing since.

Anyone had been like this with AF?

As it has been so long since i have had it i cant remember lol! sad i know

i get nausea from AF, but not enough to have me throwing up...usually i get the nausea just before a bout of heavy pain or just after.

AJP - you know what HIGHLY unlikely - we have done everything in our power not to get pregnant lol

Maybe it is a combination of the flu with AF approaching?? I just wish it would decide if it is or not

Yes. I get what I call Rapid Fire AF. 3 days heavy every 3 weeks, and it always makes me nauseous to the point of vomiting.

When its on, my DH pretty much confines me to bed and gives me something to eat so I can throw it up because once thats happened, I can get some sleep. If I dont vomit the nausea doesn't abate any.

That sounds awful. Maybe you've had a bit of an ear infection that has been causing the motion sickness/nausea/vomiting? There is so much going around atm.

If it's been that long since you've had AF then it could act quite weird as she makes her reappearance.

If it continues go see a GP just to make sure all is OK.
