You should be really careful using any abrasives on sensitive skin, and depending on your sensitivity, supermarket/chemist brands may cause a reaction because they use a lot of petrochemicals and known reactive agents (like parabens and sodium laureth sulfate). Nutrogena is a hypoallergenic brand.
A really good, cheap and easy to make gentle exfoliant is olive oil mixed with finely crumbled/ground sea salt flakes (excellent for hands), or, if the salt is too harsh on your facial skin, ground almonds or oatmeal. ETA: just mix to a paste - equal parts salt, oatmeal or almonds to oil to make a tablespoon of scrub
