Confused over mositurers & face wash - What To Use

We are TCC at the moment and going through our next IVF round. In my prepartion my focus is on skin care and avoiding Vit A. I am confused on what to and what not to use I would appreciate any suggestions.

As far as I understand it Vit A is mainly in the anti-ageing moisturisers...All the retinol ones...

You should be fine with any normal cleansers/moisturisers - as for which one? Of course I'd say The Body Shop as they're sooo nice! LOL!

Most of the supermarket brands have a very very low dose. Mainly the salon or the ones are a little more expensive are the ones that have the higher doses.

It can be called Retin A, retinol, retinol palmitate, vitamin A Palmitate. Retin A is usually the purest form and it usually costs more and they usually are medical grade products.

Why not try a certified organic product like the Miessence brand so you know there are no harmful additives for you or baby? Miessence

Hi There,

I would use products that are paraben presrevative free as parabens have shown to mimic oestrogen in the body, they are actually banned in Japan and Sweden for this reason. Go to your health food shop and they should be able to advise on paraben free products. If you are having IVF you probably should steer clear of anything that could mess your hormones further!

The Body Shop products almost always contain Parabens by the way.
