Do you wear a primer under foundation? If so, what brand?

I normally just moisturise then put some foundation on. But since i was introduced to Smashbox primer i have not looked back. It seriously allows your foundation to just glide on, it enables the foundation to stay on longer, and it (so it says) fills in any lines and wrinkles....ive been so impressed with this stuff. Its a bit expensive at $60 a bottle, but i only use it on spec occassions....
Ive just got my mum and 3 x sisters onto a primer too.....

Laura Mercier Primer - $60 but lasts a long time. I find that the foundation sits better rather than over moisturiser. Also helps eliminate shine but keeps my skin protected.

never heard of primer... will be watching this thread. I don't use much makeup but occassionally I need to look really groomed and could be interested in a primer.

Again, heard laura mercier primer is fantastic.

Its one of those items you tend to think 'as if i need that'. but seriously, once youve tried it, you would never go back....ive heard the analogy of 'you wouldnt just paint your picture onto a canvas......you would prime first....same goes with makeup, we all need to prime first'.

I have used laura mercier which i love and I also use clarins beauty flash balm - its great!

I use Napolian Auto Pilot aswell. Keeps my foundation on all day

I agree, another Napoleon fan here too! After wearing primer under foundation, I'd never go back.

I’ve heard Napolean has a good primer. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm breaks me out.

I use Prescriptives foundation from Mecca which is so good, lasts all day and no oiliness, so there is no need for primer with this foundation.
