    Winter Race Day Fashion...??

I am going to a big Race Day in the first week of May - so it will probably be quite cold where I live. In the midst of this heatwave I convinced myself that it would be ok to wear a strapless short ****tail dress and heels but I've realised that on a 14 degree day I could be quite chilly .

    So... what should I wear?

Can you wear a large coat over the dress, and/or can you wear a pair of tights? Or is it more socially acceptable to freeze your tits off?

Should i just bear the cold and drink enough alcohol to warm me up?

Hey Amy, nope, far better to dress warmly than to drink too much alcohol! Tights is fine with closed in shoes. Have you got a pashmina you could wrap around your shoulders? HTH.

Overcoat is always sexy over a short dress, I would probably stick with black though, you can never go wrong with black. Same with the tights, short dress black overcoast, black tights, high heels would look great. Don't forget that after a few, the tights might get a little annoying in the bathroom, IYKWIM!!!! But that's only if you plan on a few or more

Pashmina's always go well too, they are good, because you can wrap them around in all sorts of ways.

I'm off for a track day in march, so won't be so cold, but I remember going to a meet during the winter carnival in Brissy, and always commenting on chicks walking around with ALOT of skin showing thinking they must be freezing their tits off... Jacket or Pashmina is definitely a good move.

Hope you have a great day.
