    Good tweezers

    Hey guys,

I was at my mums house the other day, and needed her tweezers, which were completely crapola and didn't work. So i thought i would get her a present of a decent pair of tweezers. Anyone have any advice about which ones are good? The ones with a magnifying glass & light, do they help (my mum i think is beginning to lose her eyesight ... shhhh.....)??

    Thanks.

I have a great pair that are manicare brand. They have gold tips and the end of the tweezers have a slanted edge. I find this helps me plucking hairs out.

I second gold tips, very important, the soft gold helps create a tighter grip because it's less likely to become mis-alligned IYKWIM. And my best tweezers also have inward slanting ends rather than being straight. I might have to take yet another photo for my gallery LOL Mine are Manicare Soligen and have lasted nearly 8 years, good as new. Cost under $25 I think.

There are ones from the chemist called "La Tweeze". They come in colourful tubes, and there is a light, and a mirror. They are fantastic!!

I pluck my eyebrows atleast every 2nd day, so I know the importance of them keeping sharp and being able to pick up tiny hairs. Highly recommend them for $20 and my light is still going....And theyre over a year old!

I agree with the gold, slanted tips. My current tweezers are from Paris When we went travelling to Europe I forgot to pack my tweezers so ended up having to buy a new pair from a pharmacy in Paris. Makes me feel like I have a fancy pair, but they are just run of the mill tweezers really
