Snap limeslice!
MG they should trim you, because you could accidentally trim too short...
Just a shower, wear old knickers just in case they leave little bits of wax on-it doesn't wash out of fabric.
Mine usually takes 20-25 mins, takes a little longer first time or if its been a while.
Snap limeslice!
How frequently do you need them? Wondering if I should wait a week as don't want to be on the operating table with little growth not ready for waxing if that makes sense?
I found I bruised when I waxed during the latter stages of my pregnancy.
I go every 4 weeks MG, and I had one 2 weeks ago and am just now starting to get regrowth. It is different to shaving regrowth though, it is softer because the ends aren't blunt.
Re the bruising, the only times I have ever bruised were when I tried to do it myself (ouch!) and when I went to an inexperienced waxer who was slooooowwww pulling the wax off (also ouch!). Maybe with the extra blood flow in that area they need to be more careful while you're pregnant? Not sure... They should know from their training.

I get an 'almost' brazilian every 5-6wks. I have a landing strip left and she trims as well, also does everywhere, as in under neath and in between as well. Get clarification on what they class as a landing strip or almost brazilian. Some beauticians will not do underneath and in between I have heard.
The girl I go to works from home and does an excellent job. Hardly feel anything at all while she is working away. I think that as I have been having it done since I was pregnant with DS2, I don't notice the pain as much.
They shouldn't use strips for a brazilian as far as I know, it should be only the wax that they put on and take off without using the strips. The girl that does mine, uses the white wax as it's better for sensitive skin. Works for me
ETA: I get my brazilian wax, eyelash tint and eyebrow wax done in 45mins. I also think the key to them not being as painful is maintain them, don't leave it too long in between otherwise you are back to square one when you go back.
Omg. I'm booked for 9am sat. Slightly scared! Spoke to her about a few "concerns" and she talked me through them... Still scared!
MG !!
Good luck. First time I found painful but second time round way less. Get it over with and each time will be better. Feels so nice down there too now
Anyone know how long your hair needs to be? I was about to book for Saturday (you inspired me MG, I've chickened out twice so far) but then realised I (well, DH, I can't reach) trimmed on Monday on the shortest setting, so I think I now need to wait a week or two to grow back![]()
I think only about 5mm, but it depends on the wax they use... Your best bet would be to call and check![]()
Take 2 panadol before you go, but I would definately recommend trying a bikini or g-string wax first.
Piece of cake!
Yay!![]()
Woo Hoo! Once you start, hard to go back![]()
Absolutely! I've already booked in for the next one!
