    I have had my GHD for 5 years and it still works well. It was my first expensive straightener. I'm really happy with it. And I have thick wavy/frizzy hair. But I haven't tried any others so I can't compare the GHD to others.

    Absolutely, GHDs are worth every penny however I upgraded mine a while back for Cloud 9's and they're even better. I'd highly recommend them.
