    Thumbs up GHD Straightening Iron

I am soooooo getting one of these. I bought one on eBay but I found out they were selling fakes, but they were good about it and gave me a refund - think I might just go to my local salon who introduced me to it anyway! Ris can't wait until put curls in her hair!!!

    Anyone else got one?

I don't have one but i've used one and yep they are pretty fantastic! I actually have a lower end brand which is exactly the same style as the ghd and having used both i would say it comes pretty close in comparison. Now that i've gotten the new "pob" hairstyle i have to straighten it every time i wash it. I will upgrade to the ghd one day hopefully!

Yes I have one and wouldn't be without it, it is the best hair styling product around. I just let my hair dry and then straighten don't even bother with the hair dryer.

my friend got hers for $260.... but i can't remember where from but it was recently! shop around! check out ebay too...
they are great! my hair is too long and thick to use a hair straightener, it would take ALL day! so i use a hairdryer 2300W (ionic i think?) and that does the job for me!

OMG Kelly I've been lurking on the ebay pages for ages umming and ahhing over buying one and went to the forum and saw a thread about a powerseller selling fake ones for the real price. Put me off buying one on there as My sister has one and they are the best aren't they. Think I'll get one from the salon or maybe check out a wholesale hairdressing barn thingo, hmmm might look them up today.
Hope you all get a good deal.
Renstar I have kinda thick hair and have to blowdry first but since having babies my hair although straight is quite frizzy, I love using the straightner on it as it gives it a really nice finish. I love the GHD on for the curling factor too, so cute in DD's hair.

I sooo want one of these. It's the one my hairdresser uses and sells for $300. Might have to put it on my shopping list.

DD got a Vidal Sasoon one from David Jones and our hairdresser said it as good if not better than a GHD and was only $120. She uses it nearly every day and loves it.

I have one and it is just the best thing. I have tried so many different irons, and the GHD is so quick and leaves your hair feeling soft not dry.

Be careful though, I have burnt the top of my ear before and OUCHIE!

Oh and I got mine for $279 - mates rates at my Hairdresser.

My hairdresser used one on me last time I got my hair done - it made my hair look fantastic! But I won't be buying one - too exy and I never have time to do my hair anyway.

I was going to say that $360 is expensive isn't it?! I'd love one. I have a dodgy Breville at the moment. I have to go over the same piece of hair about 3 times to get it nice and straight. GHDs are so fast and easy to use. My hairdresser uses one of me. And I love how it can make curls too!

I've also heard about the fake ones on eBay.

A while back a lot of salons had a deal where you got $75 cash back when you traded in your old straightener. Wonder if that will come back?

I am so protective of my ghd's! No one is allowed to even go near them! I bought mine in UK from my friend who is a hairdresser for 85 pounds they retail there for 104pounds. There are different sizes though (thickness) so maybe Princess Conf is one of the thicker ones?

I went through 4 cheaper ones before I got mine and I think they are by far the best straighteners on the market.

I've got one that I got from Stefan and it only cost me $99 - I use mine religiously and to create so many different looks. I can't live without it.
