1 ankle boots
1 sneakers (need new as toe is starting to stick out through the top)
1 Colorado sneakers (which I should toss as they have a terrible squeak, but haven't been able to find anything to replace them with)
6 ballet style
3 heels (work/going out)
2 bridesmaid shoes (may or may not wear again, but like too much to toss)
6 thong style (with flowers, jewels, heel etc)
So that's 20 (gosh!)
The of course slippers, gardening sneakers, gumboots and a couple of Havainas. And steel caps.
lol I was going to say I'm not a shoe person (anymore ) but after reading all the replies....turns out I still am.
More than 20. Various coloured casual sneakers, runners x2, high and low heeled boots in different leathers, sandals and ballets in various colours/patterns/styles, heels etc.
More than 12 in regular rotation including my birkies.
A couple that I hang onto for old times sake (a pair of hot pink Midas snakeskin wedge sandals and dragonfly diamonte wedding shoes)
Well, see I would only include in the count the ones I wear regularly as the others are ones that I've had for ages, don't wear and should go to the opp shop. That's my line and I'm sticking to it
So:
five pairs of boots
one pair sneakers
one pair Converse
two pairs flats
four pairs sandals
Apart from that, I have 10-20 pairs of shoes/boots that were either mistakes or shoes that I used to wear a lot, are no longer fashionable but I can't bear to part with.
I have 10 pairs, but 4 of those are stilettos that I never wear, 1 pair of wedges I barely wear, 1 pair of heels I occasionally wear, and the rest are flats.
Around 50, split into work suitable and not work suitable. I wear a different pair of shoes to work every day, the guys make me do a shoe parade when I get in each morning so they can check out the day's shoes.
I'm not buying any more shoes until I hit my 12wbt goals, because then I'll need new clothes & of course new shoes since some of my shoes are getting too big for me.
OK I need to buy a pair of thongs for my OS trip since I'll be doing yoga twice a day and will need them for wandering around the resort.
26 pairs including slippers and the shoes I got married in 15yrs ago.
I have some shoes I just refuse to part with and will not throw out, they are pretty classic in style.
I have thongs of sorts, in that I mean those Gisele Bunchen type sandal thongs.
About 40 I love shoes and even with my wonky large feet I still find it easier to find shoes that fit and look good compared to trying on clothes.
Must admit my heels don't get worn very often at all these days, don't get the opportunity.
My new favourites are my naturaliser wide calf, flat heeled boots.
I have 1pair knee high heeled boots, 1 flat ankle boots, 1x knee high flat boots, 4x ballet flats, work shoes, runners, 4 pair flat sandals, 7 x wedges, gumboots, rest are various heeled shoes
I have:
2 pairs of high heels (that never get worn but won't throw out as I love them anyway!)
1 pair of Emily Strange boots (that I have never worn thanks to muscular calves that even at 40kg lighter I can't get rid of).
2 pairs of runners (exactly the same, one is old and now only kept for mowing etc)
1 pair of work shoes (that only get replaced when absolutely vital. At the moment they are $60 Grosbys. Totally comfy)
I might have a pair of Chucks in there but I think I got rid of them. Only been worn once anyway!
