I need a change .... Some tips on clothes/make up

So, the last few weeks I've been spring cleaning like a crazy woman! Throwing out clothes and other possessions I dont use/wear. A huge spring clean which continued through the house LOL I've still got DD's room to go and our spare room. Im just so ITCHY for a change

I need some tips on a couple of things.

1.What products do you use that give you an All day fresh look (foundation) my foundation is Revlon photoshop, its nice, but i find that with all my foundations but the afternoon its almost gone. I use a sponge to apply my foundation and around my nose area i always see the line, so i pat it with the sponge and it makes it worse I have freckles too They're a medium brown tho, so they aren't too bad.

I seen a girl tonight and she looked so fresh - I want that look too!

How do i get that fresh look?

    2. Clothes - I'm tired of wearing the same style - I NEED A CHANGE!! Some of the ladies i work/see in the street with look so stylish, sometimes i feel daggy! Im a 16 below and 14-16 up the top. I bought some tights a few weeks back, but dont really have anything LONG enough (to go past the knees cos I have tree trunks ) and when i look for something long, i just cant find anything!

    Suggestions?

Maybe you could buy some nice wrap around dresses or tunic style dresses to go with your tights? I find buying some nice bright colours can freshen up your wardrobe too and new accessories. A knee length skirt, tights and flat boots would look nice too Sometimes updating your hairdo can make you feel fab too.

If you want a new you, then definitely start with a new hair do! Do you have a Myer or David Jones near you? If so, go in there and quiz the girls about the right type of foundation for you. Let them know what you're looking for. With tights, a knee length dress with boots during winter would be nice. Do a bit of window shopping, there's heaps out at the moment for that type of thing. And as it's winter, make sure you have a smokin' pair of jeans! That's a must in every woman's wardrobe

Mac offer a basics course which is held at some Myer stores - check out their website, they have locations and dates. It costs a fee like $100 odd but fully redeemable at the end of the class to use on cosmetics, and they offer you personal help after, like foundation matching. Love their stuff!

Clothes - I read the Vogue forums when I need help and tips, loads of info on there! One big thing I have learnt is dressing for your shape and hiding things with bigger clothes is the worst you can do! There's heaps of info on that there too. Or you could always go the personal stylist route to get you started! Totally lavish but you'll learn skills for life
