Okay, Peach has me thinking. The girl in your photo doesn't look tarty, but it would depend how you accessorised. Probably if you stuck with some classy classic black pumps you'd be fine. Sort of keep things simple and let the dress be the focal point.

You could always wear a jacket of some sort for the family thing if you feel it crosses the line, but I'd kinda be more pushing the ****ty look on DP

it could be ****ty, like nelle said, depends on what you do with it...Your hair will also play a big part. I think i would probably wear my hair out, down one sholder and a little curled, not up like in the photo. The dress, some nice shoes, I think it will be amazing. What were you thinking of doing with your hair?

I was thinking just some dark make up around my eyes and my usual gold jewlery. I have massive brown eyes so hoping the make up will just emphasis them:/
