Fashion Advice Needed

Hello,
I am after some help, I have 3 weddings to go to this month so i am looking for three outfits that i will get more then one wear out of. I have been looking at this dress for one of them (a casual/formal wedding), I was thinking of wearing black leggins under it with heals, however i have has mixed reactions from friends. can you wear heals with leggings?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Rach,

What a gorgeous dress! I think its fine to wear "footless" tights and heels. People assume leggings as in Kath and Kim style which probably why you have been getting a mixed reaction.

Obviously, it will all depend on the type of wedding it is though and you are the best judge of that. If its an ultra formal affair then Id maybe give it a miss, but if its a semi-formal style wedding then wearing the tights with heels is very appropriate. Add a glam handbag and some funky earrings and your set to go.

I went to a semi formal wedding a few weeks ago and there were several girls with tights and heels.

I agree with Lisa. If the tights are footless (leggings) then its fine to wear heels!

Definitely glam it up with a funky pair of earings and a bracelet.
