    Lucas Paw Paw Ointment

I was just in my local health food store looking for something for really dry lips. I usually use beeswax lip balm but it doesn't seem to be working. The Miessence lip balm I have doesn't seem to be doing anything either.

Can I use lucas paw paw ointment on my lips? It didn't say on the back of the tube and their website doesn't say either. I've used it before on burns/grazes/bites etc but never on my lips.

Is it worth a try? Does anyone else use it on their lips?

try olive oil on your lips (or another oil like JoJoba, Sweet Almond etc) - use a natural oil not a trans oil (like canola)

Unfortunately, Lucas' is petroleum based even though it doesn't say so on the label! Apparently the amount in it is just under the percentage amount that is required for it to be listed as an active ingredient (does that make sense?!). Seems that sometimes even the "good" products aren't so good after all, it's so hard to know
