I have several and love them.
They are so flowy though that sometimes you can step on the front of them and trip over your own skirt![]()
... y'know the ones that go to your ankles.
Who has one? Where did you get yours from? Do you like?
I've seen one in a shop at the end of my street and I think they'd be good for me. I'm almost transparent so never keen on showing my legs in summer and never get around to the fake tanning business.
I have several and love them.

i think they're great, very pretty.
you should go and try it on
Love em. Just got a new one in the post yesterday that my mum made for me to wear to DS' bday party.
I think they're very pretty and feminine and have the added bonus of hiding all the lumpy bits![]()
Ohhhh I really want some for this summer - are there any that look like I could breastfeed in them though?
I love them too! I just got a new one from Sussan - it's navy and white - a large paisley print. Very comfy and feminine...![]()
Ooh Nelle, good point, hadn't thought of that!
Love them. Jeanswest have some gorgeou ones at the moment!
I had a client once who wore one, and BF by just pulling one of the straps off her shoulders and flapping it out, so to say!
I am trying to make a lovely satin one for a wedding in December. The fabric is so beautiful that I am terrified of mucking it up though!
I love them but I'm not sure that it would look any good on me - I'm a shorty.
Have seen some gorgeous ones around though!
I'm wearing one right nowA big flowy navy one with paisley on it. I reccon once bub is born I'll just slide the strap off my shoulder at tucker time.
You look gorgeous in yours Raven!
I think they are great if you get the right style that suits you. So I would try on a few different styles to see which ones you prefer.
I'll second that, gorgeous mate. Perfect with your bump. You look gorgeous in yours Raven!![]()
how do they look if you've got a bit of a belly? I have a high belly, just under the ribs and the empire line makes me look preggo at the best of times...
I LOVE the idea of a maxi dress, but when I try them on, I look like a freaking GIANT! Not kidding. I'm tallish with broad shoulder and hips and I do carry a bit of extra weight, so I just look like a massive trunk of person. I WISH I could wear them but it just doesn't do anything for me... : (
Hi Ruth- There are differnent styles of maxi dresses so make sure you try different types on. I have big bbs so I cant wear the spaghetti strap ones. I look for ones with thicker shoulder straps.
I've decided I'm going to get one with a halter neck. Would be particularly good for met at the moment because I've got a massive bruise on my deathly pale legs where I fell through our decking!
