My hair color is a disaster!!!

Had my hair done on Saturday. I got dark brown underneath (which I love) and on top blonde - but the blonde looks coppery/bronze. Hairdresser put toner in it but dont think that worked. She did mention that she did not use bleach/peroxide, so I think thats why my hair is not the nice light blonde!

I'm soooo mad, I should have just gone for the dark brown!!

They do say pregnancy hormones changes things!

Can you go back and get it fixed to the way you want it? Most places will let you do that and if she didnt use peroxide in the first place (which is weird because how else do you get blonde unless its already blonde?) then they should be able to do it without damaging your hair too much.
Good luck - there is nothing worse is there.

I'd be definitely going back... she should have a) warned you it might happen or b) offered to redo it for you...

Not good enough! Some people just shouldn't be colourists!

I'd be going back and getting someone different to redo it for free... Sometimes they don't but I'd try and push for it, especially if you specified exactly what you wanted and she didn't listen to you!

I second that Cai, some people just shouldn't be colourists!!!

Caz, my advice would be to phone first and explain to the salon what you aren't happy with and see what they offer. (I find the phone less embarassing than doing these things in person). If they don't offer to fix it up for free then I think that dark brown with copper sounds lovely too!

You could try to put a semi-permanent through it yourself as it should take to the lighter sections more quickly and thus tone done the highlights. Depends how willing you are to risk making your hair worse! (I'd do it but then i also let my husband cut my hair!).
