I just ordered MooGoo shampoo and conditioner. I had to do it then check out fast though so I didn't order half of their site :lol: I might potter down to the health food shop tomorrow morning when it's cool and have a squiz at what they stock! I sent an enquiry to the company with my skin concerns trying to figure out what cleansing oil they'd suggest too. I might go nuts on the moisturisers if the shop stocks them
We love moo goo cream for DD's bum cream and we use the bath milk for us all, even in DD's hair! Lathers up great and smells Devine!!
I want to get the shampoo to try but it must be bloody popular as every time I see a moo goo stand and look for some they are sold out!!!!
There was heaps in the health food shop! The man said it was REALLY popular and suggested the shampoo for my hair issues. He said that there were people that had tried everything in the past and finally settled on moogoo and came back for more. I ordered online though because I didn't want to chance the shop being out of stock. It gets really strange with stocking this time of year because Kal is so empty. In the shop I got the MSM cream, oil cleanser and anti aging cream. It was $84 worth but my face hasn't been itchy all day and the dermatitus patch has shrunk from the size of a 50 cent piece to the size of a 10 cent piece overnight!
crazy lady thats fantastic!!! I cant wait to get mine too :) I've also decided to try henna out on my hair to keep all the chemicals away and make my hair nicer
So glad I found this thread! I have been whinging about my hair for ages now... No matter what shampoo I seem to use it feels terrible and is really annoying me since I've usually been quite happy with my hair.

Just used my moogoo shampoo and conditioner last night and it has definitely improved the feel of my hair already. It still needs a few more washes to feel lovely and silky but it's better than the wiry frizz Afro that it was! (my poor hair straightener has copped a real workout lately!)
I do agree with everyone that said it didn't lather though. The first shampoo barely lathered at all, but the second shampoo was better. Maybe I need to just shampoo twice, not sure yet.
Anyway, I bought the shampoo, conditioner, milk wash (which can be body and face wash which is great), lip balm and a cute little cow online. I can definitely say they are a great company - I ordered on Sunday and got the order Tuesday and postage was only $7!

Tammie so when you ordered direct form them online they had the shampoo in stock? I have tried 3 of the local stockiest near me and they are all out of the shampoo until Feb. I'm bursting to get some and try it out so I might order online.
Re the lathering up I always shampoo twice anyway, the 1st shampoo I use more product and then for the 2nd I only need 1/2 the amount.
Question for those who use the body wash on your kids, what age do you think it would be suitable on. What we are using on DS will run out in a couple of months so was wondering if the moogoo wash would be ok for a 6 month old?

I ordered last Thursday arvo and it arrived Tuesday! It left my hair feeling DIVINE! OT but the face products have seriously taken 5 years off my face! It just goes to show how irritated my skin was
Cherished, I ordered on Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday which is fantastic service. if you order directly I think they would put on the site if there was no stock.
I have also started using the milk wash as a facial cleanser and it seems really nice too.
I am such a convert! My hair needs so much repair that I am just hoping that over time it continues improving it.

Yeah, the oil cleanser! it's AWESOME. No more spotties now. It's an odd feeling to use at first but it's sooooooooooo good. It cleans your skin without the tight feeling you get with most cleansers and doesn't leave a greasy residue. I'm using the MSM cream as a moisturiser to stop the psorriasis patches on my jaw and that's working ace! I use the anti aging stuff on forehead and around eyes/crows feet area. Loving it!
Ooh I'm really tempted to give it a shot.

I think I must be the only person to not like the moogoo shampoo and conditioner...I used it for a few weeks but it made my hair so feral I had to go back to my normal shampoo.
How did your hair go feral PO5? I mainly need it to stop pustules on my scalp! I was almost to the point of shaving my head just so I didn't have to use shampoo!:
I get crazy itchy hair if I use anything other than head and shoulders :wall: so it felt like I had fleas and it went really oily.
Ive tried so many different shampoos :wall:
ewwwwwwwwww! I had the first pain free shampoo in 6 months after using it. The previous stuff I was using changed formula *sigh* I don't have chunks of skin or a nasty smell in my hair now!
I just purchased Moogoo and used it for the first time tonight and OMG already my hair is looking and feeling better! Love it!
OK, so after reading all this good stuff on the moogoo shampoo & conditioner I have just ordered some online. Fingers and toes crossed it works for me ladies :)

I have had 3 washes with it now and my hair feels a little softer each time... I also don't seem to need to wash my hair as often which is great.

Tammie, that's the idea! I used to wash my hair every day b/c it does tend to go pretty lifeless and a bit oily on the second day, but I've managed to stretch it out to every second day using the Loreal shampoo in the yellow bottle (it's for damaged hair as I colour mine regularly and my old hairdresser recommended it for brittle/damaged/split ends type of hair).
I'd love to wash my hair once a week! lol.

Ya, I paid $17.50 for each bottle and $6.90 for postage. I don't like to pay postage either, but I'm too lazy to look for it in the shop :rolleyes:

Was about $23 a bottle in my local health food shop but they tend to order smaller quantities being a small town. I actually saved money by ordering online I worked out. Only took 2 days to get here too!

I love online shopping, because I work I often don't have time to get out and about too much so it's a running joke in our house that the only place I go is to the post office to collect my shopping parcels!
The downside to shopping online is that it's very easy to just add extra stuff to your order.... For instance, I had to order one of the moo goo stuffed cow toys ass well......
Oh well, it's a local (ish) business for me so I don't mind supporting them.

Another question - does anyone know of natural/organic styling products for hair? Is there such a thing?
The good oil company has a hair oil that is a natural version of moroccan oil. well, not supposed to say that but it's AWESOME and just as good IMHO! it really stops the ends of my hair feeling so brittle and dry after a hot dry day. My hair has been noticeably less frizzy since using it too
Well my moogoo arrived today! Only tranferred the money Friday, so wouldn't have gone through til probably Monday :D
Kids will use it tonight & I'll use it in the morning :)
I think I'm in love :inlove: I was in town today so thought I'd see if the moogoo had come in yet and it was there! I used it this afternoon and it's great! The shampoo didn't lather up at all but I figured it was doing it's thing as I did 3 shampoos to make sure, my hair was pretty oily anyway so I'm sure it didn't hurt. But my real joy came when I put the conditioner on, it was like silk! Combing my hair when I got out it felt beautiful and I knew I was onto a winner. I've just dried it and it's still really nice, for the 1st time in 7 years it actually feel nice again woooohoooo. My hair is really thick so I like it when my hair feels thinner when I comb it and the moogoo has done that. It is also not frizzy so I'm stoked! I could even get away without straightening it which hasn't happened for 2 years now. I just hope it keeps being this good and my hair doesn't go ferral in a few days. Would just love it if I could wash it once a week and my hair not be totally yuck. Far out I was even considering cutting all my long hair off cause I was so sick of it being yucky. :leap:
Crazylady I haven't bought the argan oil yet but intend to, did you use the babyliss argan oil aswel as the good oil company one?
Never used the babyliss version. I have a Mum who's a good oil rep at playgroup so I get products through her. The shampoo and conditioner changed from last batch though so gave me sores. I also love the good oil body oil and "crack" cream for very dry skin!
Cherished - you make me tempted to wash my hair again today just to try it! I have cut & thinned my hair recently because it was too thick & frizzy.
I really like it long... & even still I don't wear it out!!

I find I use lots of shampoo too so will prob go through 2 bottles of shampoo to 1 conditioner.
I was washing my hair every 2nd day but think I can prob do every 3rd day now.
