    perfume and heat...

    Hiya,
    Just wondering if anyone knows how hot to let a room get before moving your beauty products and perfumes? I assume it affects them adversely..
    Can you keep the above in the fridge or will that ruin them too?

    For essential oils (e.g. aromatherapy products), any temperature above about 30 degrees, and exposure to light causes them to oxidise, which can reduce the fragrance quality and sometimes cause skin reactions.

    I keep all my perfumes in my knickers drawer, right down the bottom under everything else - in Brisbane over Summer, there's probably nowhere other than the fridge that is less than 30 degrees, but that's the best I can come up with lol.
