I used my husband's Body Shop deodorant stick in my first pregnancy until morning sickness made me develop an aversion to it!! It doesn't smell too masculine, and I thought it worked well given we were living in the NT at the time with 35 degree days and 80-90% humidity.

What natural deodorant do you use?

I have just started using a QV one I think it is. It's in a blue roll on and works great for me! I swapped as I had eczema and the "standard" ones were irritating it. I had never really thought too much about the breast cancer side of it but now you've brought it to my attention again, I won't be swapping back even if my eczema goes.

I use Miessence Deoderant. I use the Ancient Spice smell, you can also get Tahtitan Breeze, or no smell. Sometimes I forget to put it on, until I start getting sweaty and a bit smelly, and after the deo on smell all gone!!!

Also, have you tried treating your armpits with apple cider vinegar or mouthwash?? The smell is a bacteria build up, so if you treat the bacteria you can get rid of smelling all together!

Coles sell a little white and green roll-on that I'm quite liking. Don't know the name though, sorry.

Oh, and Natio do a good one, but it has clary sage so no good for pregnancy.

Audax - is Natio all natural though? I thought it still had some chemicals in it? I could be wrong?

Ladybird - thanks for that tip! Do you just rub apple cider vinegar on it with a washcloth? Nothing else?? Sounds bizarre but I will try it I don't smell all the time just sometimes.... haha

Audax is it The Body Crystal one? That is what I use - all natural and smells yum! Works well - I also have a Mount Romance Sandalwood one but it's very strong and I only wear it on days when Im not wearing any other perfumes or else I ended up marinated! You could also try the actual Body Crystal that is actually a crystal? I've not tried it though!

I'm not really a fan of those body crystal ones? Not sure why just don't like them. Maybe because they don't smell? Lol

JAMA en Australie antiperspirant. It's aluminimum, alcohol and paraben free. It was $8.95 from a health store and it's fantastic! Not a hint of irritation and it really works with sweat and smell! I got this one as it said antiperspirant and most natural ones are deodorants instead. It smells great and there were 3 scents to choose from. I also have a crystal one which also works well but no scent. In the past I have just mixed vinegar and water and wiped on with a cotton ball and that worked fine too.

Yes, just wipe it straight on with a wash cloth. Repeat for a few days to kill of the bacteria!! I don't get that smelly either but every now and then its a sighn that you need to do the vinegar cleanse!!

I use a roll on one by The Body Crystal company, they have a non-fragrant one or Botanica which is the one I use! I agree - I need something that smells nice to make it feel like it's working!

Just a note on the vinegar, it's great to use when you've forgotten to put deodorant on or you only want to put something on once you start smelling because it takes the smell away and leaves you feeling clean and fresh. If I were to put regular deodorant on once I've already started to sweat and smell it only makes it worse! I find I would need to shower, wash and then put regular deodorant on.
