I luffs mirrored aviators, they scream 'rock star' even if the rest of you screams 'tired & crumpled'.
The mirrors also come in handy if you need to see if your darling child has smeared some foodstuff on your face, and people can't see the bags under your eyes, or your eyes at all if you decide a nap is in order....
Mine are Christian Dior. They're a deep pink, burgundy colour and i absolutely LOVE them! I have a hard time finding sunglasses that suit my small face but these are perfect!
I have a black pair of Dolce and Gabbana's that I have had for 4 years now! I absolutely luuuurve them but they are getting quite worn now
I did buy a pair of Prada's but someone stole them from my desk not even 2 weeks after I bought them I now have a black pair of Bvlgari's too which I'm slowly getting used to. My one and only love will always be my D&G's though!
I used to have a pair of oroton ones too which I loved dearly, but the frame cracked and the lense fell out and that was the end of them - I had them for years too. Then I moved onto a pair of RayBans which were equally as lovely, but toddlers and sunglasses do not mix so they only lasted a year I now have a pair of Bill Bass ones that I brought last Christmas in the Myer sales and they are still going strong, but a little scratched now, so they are nearly ready for retirement too. I only ever wear brown lenses, the black ones give me eye strain for some reason.
I've been through 2 pairs of Maui Jims I lost the first pair on the beach on my honeymoon getting dumped by a wave and DS broke the replacement pair. I nearly cried, they were my most favourite sunglasses. I now have some DKNY sunnies which I do like and they have sturdier frames so therefore better for life with kids. And they were much cheaper than my Maui Jims but I still mourn them LOL.
