Yes, I would and have until lately and I have to say that once I am finished my cheaper one I am going back to the good stuff!
Just beware of strawberrynet and the likes. There was an artcile about strawberrynet approx. 2-3 years ago and it virtually said that they could be selling you inferior products.

Uhhhh..... no! I could go buy us groceries for a week! But then, I don't buy make-up/beauty stuff cos I'm not into that at all anyway so for me I wouldn't use it.

I would, however, spend $99 on, say, a computer game... like The Sims 3 cos thats my thing

So if you want it and would use it then yeah why not? Everyone has their indulgences!

Wouldn't even blink about it, in fact mine costs significantly more than that but its divine and I have spent about the last 8 yrs caring for my skin so its definitely worth it. No one thinks I look my age.
If its divine, you deserve it... knowing that every morning you are looking and feeling better... value for money in my book

And DH - well his costs about $50 on its own... no issues there either... I love that my man takes care of his skin too.

No as I can get beautiuful skin without having to pay that much for a moisturiser.

Not sure if someone has said this as I havent read the whole thread but see if you can get it cheaper on ebay.

Ohhhh i knew you girls would talk me into it....

    Brand is Ole Henriksen....

Yep, ive checked out ebay and its a bit cheaper.....

It does make me feel great - i am almost running (or waddling) to the bathroom mirror of a morning to see my face.....its defn an improvement. I spent $54.95 on my last moisturiser....so im thinking that xtra $50 is worth it.....

Of course I would. I spend a lot of money on make up and moisturisers and hair products. People say there is no difference between cheap and expensive products, but I really do beg to differ.
....i agree mummy101.......you really do only need a little, and if it lasts me 6-9 months, then im happy.....

    Thanks loveys.....

Please everyone be very, very careful when buying off the internet. Quite often the products are a very good imitation copy, or they are out of date.

Also, consider the people who are doing their best to make a profit without having overseas companies selling the same product significantly cheaper.

i love adore, i buy stuff off them all the time. i'll give you a tip, try the Terax conditioner- you'll never use another brand again.

$99? Hmmm, maybe... but I'm a fairly sceptical consumer of cosmetics these days. I used to spend a lot more than I do now... but have discovered better/cheaper brands in the last few years... mainly smaller more ethical companies like MiEssence and MooGoo... who use organic good quality ingredients and don't use dangerous or dubious chemicals.

HOWEVER... I am still a bit of a sucker for those luxury brands.... but I have learned how to sweet talk samples out of counter assistants Only last week I read a review on Chanel's new skin care system (including a moisturiser) which probably cost a fortune... but i made enquiries at their Myer counter... said something about needing to test the product on my skin for an allergy and voila they gave me a 7ml sample tube! If it's nice then i'll probably go next door to their David Jones counter and repeat the same performance *wicked grin*. And if I decide that the stuff really does work and the science behind it adds up then i'll fork out for a large jar. I'm fairly cautious when it comes to spending over $50 these days.... I gotta feel very confident.
