Question about cooking something in the SC??

I am wanting to make a Choc Self Sauce pudding and looked through the little cook book that came with my SC and it has a recipe in there for one but it says to cook it in a dish in the SC crock pot.

I don't have one that would fit into my SC, would it be okay just to bake it straight in the SC or not??

I just checked my recipe and it says to put it in a pudding basin then is the s/cooker. Maybe can you just cook it in the oven instead? It might stick or burn on the base if you put it straight in -

Yeah that is what mine says Kristy. Thanks anyways darl. Might just find another recipe to do in the oven!!

Its probably too late now but just for next time, my recipe book that came with slow cooker says the same thing but I just put mine straight into SC but I spray it with cooking spray first comes out great.
