Slow cooker... which brand is best?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, I couldn't seem to find anything more suited...

This afternoon DH is buying me a slow cooker for Mothers Day, we are going to the Mall to choose one together but I'd like to find out which brand you lovely BB ladies have found to be the best. I know alot of you have slow cookers

Any opinions will be appreciated.

i have both breville (7L) and kambrook (6.5L) - avoid the breville or any with a more square crock pot - they seem to heat more rapidly so get too hot, and then everything sticks more

the kambrook are great if you're looking for a simple cooker at a reasonable price...

I posted a thread about this when I bought my new one about a year ago - will dig it up and post the link if its still around

I ended up buying the Russell Hobbs 'Reflections' 6L approx $99 from Big W & KMart - depending on specials etc you could get it cheaper.

Its been absolutely perfect - have used it on average a few times a week every week since I bought it - and cooked all types of things in it!

Have talked soooo many people into buying one after they've had dinner here

I haven't had any issues at all with anything drying up/not cooking properly - and I like the digital function that sets itself to keep the food warm after its finished cooking.
