    Chocolate crackles - variations???

Hi, we're having an In the Night Garden themed party for Miss 2 yo on Sunday. I thought we'd do chocolate crackles and call them Makka Pakka rocks () - but I was just wondering if anyone has any nice/interesting variations on the standard chocolate crackle theme?

PS I'll also take rolled rum-ball and fruit-ball suggestions at this stage - anything that looks rock-ish. LOL

    I make these:
    1 cup rice bubbles
    1 cup cocoa pops
    2 tubes Mini M&M's
    1 cup white chocolate

Mix together cereal and M&M's. Melt white chocolate and mix the lot together.
Divide into small patty pans and put in the fridge.
    Should make 24.

my grandma used to make them with sultanas/raisins - they were yum as the sultanas gave them a bit of a mushy/juicy texture.

Astrid, I just made these after coming across this earlier today. Oh yum. Yum Yum.

DH and I made a horrid batch of chocolate crackles years ago and haven't been able to make them or eat them since. DD turns 2 on Sunday so I wanted to make some and these are just divine! Thank you!

    Mars Bar Crackles

    4 cups of Rice Bubbles
    3 standard size Mars Bars
    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons golden syrup

Melt butter, mars bars and golden syrup together and then mix into the rice bubbles and put in cupcake papers.

I made these for DD's first birthday party and the adults ended up eating more than the kids did. Really easy to make as well.

I'm doing the mars bar ones for DD's party this weekend, they look extra special if you slice up mars bar and put a slither on top of each crackle
