Tonight DH baked. For the first time almost ever. It was great, I was putting DD to bed when he decided he needed chocolate so I texted directions for chocolate muffins lol. Put DD to bed, had a shower, came out to fresh baked muffins! Win!

Anywho, they're great but they're just standard muffins. And it got us thinking about when you get one from a cafe the top has a kind of layer on it, it's all yummy and gooey. Anyone know how to do that?
