Wanting to make a continental cake for boys birthday. Anyone have experience making one? I am a chef so a reasonably med to high level of difficulty is fine. Just some hints and tips possible a recipe?
Taste has a recipe for a Tia Maria version which of course you could always leave out.
ETA: if you have an iPhone or iPad, the epicurious app has the recipes for the pastry cream but not for the cake. I also found one on big oven but it won't let me copy and paste unfortunately.
