Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a large saucepan with the
butter and milk.
Heat gently, stirring until the chocolate and butter melt and the
mixture is smooth. Do not allow to boil.
Remove from the heat. Beat in the vanilla essence, then beat the
mixture for a few minutes until thickened. Pour it into the prepared
tin and level the top.
Chill in the refrigerator until firm.
Tip the fudge out onto a chopping board and cut into squares to serve.
Can be added: Lolly Raspberries, White choc bits, peppermint crisp
(broken), Honeycomb (broken) etc etc etc

So who's going to be the first to make some???? I have to go to the shops this evening for some milk so may just have to add in chocolate cs I everything else
My first test batch is in the fridge cooling now (we have to test it before giving it for Chrissy presents!). I added in white chocolate drops & chopped up raspberry lollies. I want it now *stomps foot*
We're making some today In a minute in fact with raspberry lollies, DD had requested gummi bears but they go really hard in the fridge so I was too chicken and went with the old favourite!

We didn't get to make it when I said as DD decided she wanted an afternoon nap, then before I knew it evening routine had started so we only just finished... Anyway I forgot it was 500gms choc instead I only bought 400 gms (milk and dark plaistowe) anyway I substituted the last 100gms with mud truffle nestle choc and OMG its sooooooo good
Can't wait to carve it up... shouldn't take too long to set in the freezer *fingers crossed*

We didnt' make it yet either. It got too close to the dinner thing and the kids wanted to play outside - who can complain about that. Guess it's gotta wait until Thursday if Viv wants to make it with me cause she's got skating lessons tomorrow after school. *sigh*
