    Cake tin help!?!

Does anyone have a tried and tested method for greasing fluted cake pans so that cake doesn't get stuck when you're trying to turn it out?

I made a yummy cake only to lose a quarter of it because one part stuck. It happens 3 out of 5 times, but I don't want to give up using it, as I've only had it for 6 months.

I've tried spraying with oil, greasing with butter, greasing with butter AND dusting with flour...

Either just absolutely slather the life out of it with butter/marg and then lightly dust with flour, or spray the clackers out of it with olive oil spray.

Also, make sure it has cooled sufficiently before removing from tin.

    Good luck!

Or use baking paper if you can (not sure how effective it will be with the tin)

Place a wet teatowel or towel under the tin as it cools. Do not remove from the tin until it's completely cool.

Thanks everyone! Might try another cake in it and give the tin one last chance before it's stripped of its cake making status!!
