    HELP!! Disaster with Anzac biscuits

I am in the middle of making anzac biscuits and didn't quite have enough butter (about 10g less then I needed) I made them anyway but now there doesn't seem to be enough moisture to hold the mix together... HELP WHAT DO I DO?

I was making them for DS for daycare today.... any suggestions? just add a little water?

Yes I'd add a tiny amount or water or an extra spoon of Golden Syrup. Not to much water or else they will end up as flat as a piece of paper. They usually melt so to speak so its still possible that the crumbly mixture will stick together when they start cooking.

I'd add extra golden syrup and maybe I tiny bit of vegetable oil.

thanks for all your advice... I ended up melting a little marg with the golden syrup and added a little. They were really hard and didn't spread much but they worked out.

Now I just have to take them out of the oven quicker so I don't burn them lol

I find with the cookies you either burn them or make them a little too soft so they break and if I get them just right I eat them all in one lot lol
