I feel so dumb asking this but how do you make it? Im taking the girls to the park for a picnic today and making some scones and want some whipped cream, i have thickened cream here and i know adding a few other things can make it whipped, help lol!
Basically you just whip the cream until it is thicker. If you like you can add things like vanilla when it is whipped to give it a vanilla flavour... I also add a little bit of icing sugar to mine.
if you want just plain whipped cream, then just beat it until it is whipped. If you want sweet cream, then add some icing or caster sugar. Just be careful you don't over whip it as it goes runny again and won't re-whip...i've done that before... you can also refrigerate it for a bit to make it thicker.
Yep - just beat it till it thickens - but make sure its really cold or it won't thicken properly. If its for scones I wouldn't add anything cos the sweetness of the jam will be enough.
