What changes do you notice in your teenagers when they start there teenage journey?
What changes do you notice in your teenagers when they start there teenage journey?
For me
They seem to get foot in mouth disease and everything comes out wrong
They fight more than ever
They spend hours in the mirror (lmao)
They get smart with their mouths
They spend hours on the phone
Cant think of anymore right now.
They go up and down madly in their emotions between happiness and anger/nastiness. They can be giving you lip one minute and patronising you then the next they call you mummy again and hug you LOL
They spend hours on the internet!!
They go up and down madly in their emotions between happiness and anger/nastiness
OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they go from this girl u know to a complete stranger in mins its scary
and yeah i agree there on the internet for hours
They won't go to bed and then they won't get up when they do!!
they live in a fantasy world they think they can do whatever they want when they want and they think they know everything
they live in a fantasy world they think they can do whatever they want when they want and they think they know everything
ABSOLUTELY!
I agree with everything lol
My DS,13, thinks he can do what he wants, "if i don't want to, then why should i", he has actually said that to me !!!!
My daughter is only 11, but already wearing a bra so i know the hormones are starting to kick in, she is like a stranger sometimes, she used to be so quiet, but not now, she screams and yells and storms off to her room, i just stand there in total shock lol
Thinking that their actions will have no repercussions/consequences.
My eldest son *thinks* because he is the ripe old age of 13, that suddenly he is an adult, and that he can speak to us however he wants, and he suddenly has authority over DD... he obviously doesn't like it when he is brought back down to earth!!! lol
I`m nodding my head in agreeance to everything in here.
They also think they are made of steel and nothing will hurt them.
Lea - I get that comment quite often as well.
Lisa - Oh doesn`t that rub you up the wrong way when suddenly they think they are the parent of their siblings.
Being the step Mummy to two teenage boys is HARD WORK!!!!
Actually one went through his teenage years quite quickly, we`re just sitting back waiting for those hormones to hit again, just hope they have quickly bypassed him.
my 12 yr old says the same thing lea and her latest i wish you would treat me like an adult im not a baby anymore
they think we have no idea i honestly think she thinks i was never a teenager before
