My Step daughter was given one and it has been such a hassle. She was on it at all hours of the night and then didn't want to go to school cos she was too tired. If I hadn't been up & down all night weeing we would not have realised. She also got some terrible SMSs and calls from some horrible girls at school. She will never use her credit to ring home anyway, she just rings a couple of times and hangs up so we call her back.

I don't like the idea of people ( and boys!) having unfettered access to my kids. My daughter will not have one until she is alot older. If a boy wants to call her, he can call on the home phone, and go through her PARENTS.

Did anyone see today on the news about that creepy sicko teacher sending his students crass SMSs.?? Not on my watch buddy.!!
