    Unhappy Thrush..:(

I have the worst thrush at the moment due to being on Anti B's weeks ago due to a sinus infection. My bits are so sore and swollen and throbing... I can get to a chemist tomorrow but am i going to be able to use anything while peg?
The only thing I can do to make it feel better is hot soapy water then some savlon cream... prob not supposed to use it while preg but im desperate!

    Anyone have any remedies??

    HELP!

Have you got any natural yoghurt in the fridge? You can "insert" that or soak a tampon.

You poor thing, I remember that all too well when I was pg with DD

I'm currently using Canesten. The pharmacist recommended the 6 day cream as it is a lower dose, rather than the once pessary. He said just don't insert it too far and it won't be a problem.

Ooer Sesame Street yoghurt would be noice

Sorry, I missed the part about getting anything at the chemist and as the other girls said that yes you will be able to get something. I used the Amcal brand of thrush cream with the applicators. As JM said, pop the applicator just inside the vagina to avoid touching the cervix. Here's hoping tonight goes quickly and you can get to the chemist first thing.

Edit- While I was biding my time waiting for the chemist to open I just used bepanthen to help ease the symptoms.
JM- OUCHY!! That would have been shocking!! My gf swears by it if she has nothing in the house.

i used nappy rash cream after that until i got to a pharmacy. Daktozin is for baby thrush, should provide some relief...

    No more yoghurt for me!
