Well m/ced on 24 April and haven't heard from Aunty F since.

Have noooooooo idea where she's ticked off to.

Has anyone else had this? I'm starting to worry a bit and don't want to visit our useless and generally uncaring local doctors.

did you have a natural m/c as in no d/c I had a m/c on the 8th May and my RE has given me till this thursday which will be 5 weeks for AF to arrive then I need to see him.

generally 6 weeks is long enough and I think your just on 6 weeks, did your :hugs: bleeding go on for long...I personally would be checking in with the dr just to make sure things are ok, and there isn't any residual (sorry) tissue left..sometimes natural m/c dont come away completely IYKWIM!!!

Lestypuss, I was waiting for just over 8 weeks before AF showed after my D&C last year. There's a thread Waiting for AF after MC&L and it was really good for support when I was waiting, waiting, waiting. I'll find it for you.

Hope AF shows up for you soon. I started temping and using OPKs to track down ovulation and was able to work out when my AF would be once I'd got a positive with an OPK.

Thank you both.

My m/c went for about 10 days. I reckon not much was left.

I notice that some of them in that thread hadn't had AF for up to 170 days!! So, I've got nothing to complain about here.

I like the idea of "keep on having lots of sex". I may just persist with that...... not unpleasant.

I'll see what happens. Wouldn't mind a litte bubby again though. Kind of scared in a way though - don't want to have to ever go through it again. But I definitely count my blessings with DS. Some of the girls in here really go through some unbelievable stuff, but are still able to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and get on.

It is just so commendable - I don't know how brave I'll be if it ever happens again....

sorry for your loss, everyone body is so different, i found temping was a great help so i new what my body was doing, fingers crossed AF will arrive soon,

After your M/C did you have a u/s to check everything??
If not go and see your crappy Dr tell them what is happening and ask for u/s and also ask for a blood test to check your hormone levels (to see where your body is in your hormone cycle). Your hormones might be out of whack

You have to book an appointment 6 weeks in advance here. I'm still waiting for my appointment to come in another 4 weeks. Not going to ER - too expensive
