Hi Everyone,
I had a natural miscarriage a month ago, which ended with severe blood loss and a near death experience for me. I had to have a d&c as my blood pressure was so low that they could not risk me losing any more blood. Although it has been suggested that I wait at least 3 months before we start trying again, I am wondering how long it will take for my cycle to start back up again.
So my question to you all is, how long after a d&c did it take for your next period to arrive???
Ladybirdflies, I'm sorry again for your loss and the terrible ordeal you've been through. I got my AF exactly 5 weeks after my m/c. I was eagerly awaiting it as it meant I could count down to TTC, and after I went and saw a intuitive healer, I got my AF the next day. She did say it was going to bring on my AF. GL sweetie xoxoxox
I got mine 7 weeks later but my cycles were really long normally so think this was my "normal". I went on to clomid to shorten them and feel pg on second cycle. Sorry to hear about your loss and the difficulties u had. Any loss is hard but having further complications must make it so much harder. I hope u recover well and have a speedy TTC when u do start again.
so sorry to hear about your loss... with both of mine my period came back on the 31st day... and I usually have a 26 day cycle... I was told to wait 2 months which I did because I didnt want to risk it... but I totally get the whole not wanting to wait... perhaps wait at least 2 because if you had that much blood loss you might need to let your body recover....
THankyou to everyone for your replies, me asking must have helped bring on the bleeding!!! Day 31 my longest cycle ever! I got to the point where I thought it was never going to show, but AF finally arrived. I am still pretty exhausted from the blood loss of miscarriage so I am feeling a bit knocked around after two heavy days of AF. I really don't want to wait to TTC, but I know it's best for my body and best in the long run is I wait two more cycles. I am really going to have to use my will power to get past the next few ovulation times....
