    Spotting - MC or PCOS?

I'm a bit confused and not sure if this should be in the PCOS section or here. *TMI* warning below!

I had a chem pg 2 weeks ago. AF was due on the Friday, I did a HPT on Sat and got a positive. Got a slightly stronger positive on the Sunday and within an hour I started spotting and then AF came later that day My period was strange and was bright red but kind of watery, then went to darker brownish blood, then back to more bright red but still a bit watery. In the meantime I had been to the Dr and had a positive blood test on the Tuesday and by the Thursday the HCG results were less than 1. AF went for 6 days, so finished last Saturday/Sunday. This week though I have had some light pink spotting on a few days and then this morning some bright red spotting. I am due to ovulate this weekend, I have had some almost EWCM in the past day or two but the OPK tests have been very negative. I have had cramping on both sides which feels more like AF pains than O pains.

I'm not really sure what I'm asking here but do you think the spotting is from the mc or maybe just due to my PCOS? I can't get in to see my Dr until next week but even then I'm not sure if it's worth paying $40 for him to tell me it's "normal" or whatever and send me away. It's all too confusing for me and my body seems to be up **** creek!

I don't have PCOS but I do sometimes get bleeding a week after AF has finished, just a tiny amount. I was told it was just normal but was never actually told what it is. It is not an ovulation bleed though because I can feel when that happens. I will add that all this has happened after having kids. Before I had a regular 28 day cycle with 3 day periods and that was it. Now I get any where from 24-32 day cycles and 4-8 day periods with random spotting in between.

Hi enchanted, sorry you have had a rough time. After I had a chemical pregnancy earlier this year, I had a light AF at the time, and slowly dropping bhcg ( 20 to 10 in a week) then i never got AF for 2 more months, it drove me insane as i eventually had to take drugs to bring AF on, cos i was wanting to start an IVF cycle. My point is that maybe our bodies get confused with chemical pregnancies and your hormones are a bit out, I know mine always are after m/c. I hope things settle for you and you can get on with trying again. Maybe you had spotting at ovulation?? Although if you had neg OPKs it makes it confusing.
I'm with you- my body is up **** creek since my last miscarraige- frustrating+++!!
