Need some help please

Hey Girls,
Well as some of you know we didn't find a heartbeat at 10 weeks then had curette last thursday... Well I have no bleeding at all not even afterwards.. I don't ovulate on my own I was on IVF treatment but they said sometimes a pregnancy can fix this up .. I am curious I did a OPK tonight and was positive but also a pregnancy test (to check if HCG was gone) and it was positive also so I am not sure what the hell is going on with that and if I should just BD or not incase.. Also weird thing happened tonight I have milk what the its soo weird I didn't think this would happen soo early on and after missed m/c ..

So just curious

a) did you not bleed after curette?

b) how long after the cureete till you ovulated?

c) did you get milk after curette?

Any help would be awesome thankyou ladies xx

Hi Miss K,

I am sorry for you loss. I have had 2 miscarriages both at 5 1/2 weeks however did not need a D & C. Although I did have laparoscopy and hysterscopy in July to remove a septum and had a D & C.

I have done alot of research and it is not uncommon not to bleed after a D &C. Did you doc put you on any medication?

My FS out me on premarin for 34 days and provera for 14 to help the lining of my uterus to grow. I have 3 more days left of the tablets and AF should come.

However the milk I cannot answer. I would see you doc just to be safe they can do a blood test over three days to check what your HCG levels are doing. If they are rising then your pregnant again. If they are decreasing then you know you are not pregnant.

I am sorry for your loss Miss K.

I bled for a couple of weeks after my three D & C's - but my losses were much later. I also produced milk but not after my 3 first trimester losses. I haven't heard of milk production this early - but I am sure it happens.
If you got a pos preg test you would also get a pos opk - opk's will often show a pregnancy earlier than a preg test.

I think I ovulated about 6-8 weeks post D & C. I HTH.

I am so sorry for what you have been through and for the loss of your precious bub.

I had a d&c the first time after having an ectopic pg and my fallopian tube removed. I bled a little for two days and then nothing for the following 10wks until AF arrived. I too had what looked like colostrum seeping out of my nipples, only very small amounts, but enough to disturb me (I too was 10wks - well 9.5).

With my second loss, I had a natural and complete miscarriage but it was about 2wks from knowing the baby was gone to the time I started bleeding.

If you are worried, then put a call in to your OB or caregiver and see what they have to see. Usually its just a matter of time until your body recovers and starts to get back to some sort of normal.

Miss K- Sorry for your loss dalring I had a M/c 6 weeks 1 day, I never had a D&C it happened naturally my HCG went out of my blood a week after the bleeding started. I started to get Breast milk about 3 days after my bleeding started from the M/c. The doctor said the reason that happend is because the m/c is like giving birth so some woman will respond into making breast milk.

I think you should ask your doctor about more testing for the D&C I thought after those you shouldnt have any HCG left. I would def call and talk to him
