No Period after m/c

Hi, I hope someone can offer me some advice or let me know if they have had a similar experience. I had a missed m/c at 10 weeks in Feb 07 and d&c on 16 Feb. I am still waiting for AF to return!! very frustrating. I went back to OB 11 weeks after d&c, blood tests showed low level pg hormone so he thinks just taking a long time to get over it. After a few more weeks tried progesterone test and have now tried clomid 50g 1 month. did not ov and still no period. I have pains and cramping but no bleed. OB suggests repeating clomid this month. really don't know what is going on but i am anxious TTC and would appreciate any thoughts...

i had a misscarraige and d&c only last week. i have not bleed at all since friday night which was the day of my d&c but every thing seems to be fine. i dont really have any suggestions for you as i havent had that problem.i do hope you get some answers that you want as if i was going through what u were i would be wanting to know to.

my sister is on the same tablet as you at the moment as she is not ovulating. she has had no children and while she was on the pill she used to skip them. she has also had type 1 diabetes for two years now. she went off the pill around 6 months ago and could not concieve so went to see a doc. ????? to why she hasnt been ovulating.


hope it all goes well and keep us informed on why this could be.

Its been some time since your post, but I found it nonetheless, and if you are still on this forum, I would really appreciate knowing what happened to you. Did you ever find out why it took so long to have a period? Did they diagnose you?

I am experiencing the same problem as you. Its been 14 weeks or so since my D&C, and I've tried Provera, and Clomid and still no period and no pregnancy. I do feel cramps during the time I ovulate and would expect a period, but nothing happens (although I do ovulate). I'm very anxious to get pregnant again as we've been trying for some time and I'm running out of time. Any info or advice would be very much appreciated as I really don't know what to do now.

I had a m/c & d/c December 19th 2007 I did not get AF until March 1st this year, I've already had anothe regular ontime period...it is very hard to do BUT try to be patient...it should come when your body is ready. Believe me I never wanted AF sooo bad!!!

I had a d&c on Dec. 22,2007. I never got my period after. I went to the dr. and they put me on Provera and Clomid. March i had a very heavy bleed and then April i barely had anything. I had my 21 day blood check in May and my levels were 1.0 and so I didnt ovulate. I am TTC. My d&c was from me being pregnant and fetus stopped growing at 6 1/2 weeks. My dr. wants me to take the provera again and has recently uped the dose on my clomid. Why after 6 months am i not getting my normal period and my levels are so low.
