Just a quick post before I go to bed in case Jen is stressing about her little green block  Don't stress, it's a good thing you only have one block. That means that the program is pretty sure you are going to ovulate on that day based on your previous charts (which for you is none, lol). It's guessing based on the odds basically. For me, my charts have been all over the place because of first my pregnancy, and then the long wait for the hcg to drop before I ovulated, and then from ovulation happening late this month. I've basically confused the crap out of the program and it's guessing that I might ovulate on any of those little green block days. In conclusion... YAY for one green block!!! :D
-
Jen, my late night buddy!! I've done a bit of internet searching and it may indeed be ovulation bleeding, but most people seem to think that cd17 is too early for implantation. I guess we'll wait and see if I get that BFP! Cheers for the
Still no full on af again, so :crossfingers:
For now I'm gonna go have a lie down in my bed and have a good stern talk to my ovaries and/or bean!
-
Angel--Have you been getting any O signs yet? I O'ed on CD13 last month, but noticed some left-sided (seems like it's always on the left for me) twinges yesterday, so I think I'm definitely in my fertile period. Seems weird that it's so soon after AF left, but that seems to be the norm for me. Cervix is high, as well, and as soon as I logged it on FF, it gave me the green light for being fertile! :woot:
I agree, you definitely don't want to stuff up the :bd: but there can't be anything wrong with opening the gates ahead of time!! Better then opening them up after the fact!
-
Man...I am so envious of all the charting! I suck at temping/charting so I don't...here's hoping I won't need to learn to temp/chart :D
-
Krystie--Then :woot: for 1 green block!! I'm pretty sure it's correct, too, because I had some O pains on the left yesterday, and cervix is nice and high atm! Got DF to share his goods before bed, then he woke me up (I must admit I was a little grumpy with him, but let him have his way!) in the middle of the night and told me now I can log both days! See, it's the competition thing, I tell you--I knew it would work! Also had a pretty low temp this morning--96.97 F (don't know what that makes it in celsius) but all my other temps are above 97.2, so hopefully will see a nice coverline in 3 days!
-
Sunday morning... we ummmm well let s just say I woke up ummmm well we all get the picture.... :bd: :bd: later that night I was filling out my chart.... remembering that I ve been sulking due to EDD of my angels.... so i hadnt been paying to much attention to dates.... anyway I filled in my chart and WHAM.... high fertility from monday onwards.... so i said to DH... no more of that for the next 2 days, we need your swimmers all nice and rested and ready to swim their little hearts out... he basically told me to remember back.. and remember that it wasnt him that started it. :o .... I m terrible... keep myself undercontrol last night too.... woke up this morning with more CM than I have in long time.... OHHH i so feel like i m going into the TMI stage..... anyway.. back to the basics... major twinges left side and I dont check cervix..... so yeah... i m pretty certain "o" is approaching rapidly and my nice little programe confirms it. As for cycles... it reallly is strange having "o" so close after AF but my cycles are down to 25 days at the moment. So basically Wednesday night and Thursday night... followed by accupuncture on Friday and then implant accupunture on the 14th.... save a seat for me in the TWW.
-
tutmae--A stern talk with the "committee" always has it's advantages, but don't forget the bribery! Wishing you sweet BFP dreams!
-
Angel--Ooh, I think I would just keep on with the :bd: until CM is gone!! Does DH have any probs with low sperm count(sorry if that's too personal of a question)? Just wondering because I thought I read that unless there's an issue with low sperm count, then it's best to BD as much as possible during your fertile time?!?! I know they say the little :sperm: can live up to 5 days in the right environment, but I didn't follow through for the last 4 months with BD'ing every day during my fertile time, and no BFP, so I'm determined to BD everyday this week no matter what!!
-
Jen..... VERY low count.... thats why ICIS IVF worked but other than that nothing did. We have an appointment with a new FS in August and are looking at IUI to give his little swimmers more of a chance of making it to the finish line. So right now we are meant to be letting them all line up for the main event and hopefully with all the herbs and all the "healthy living" he has been doing... maybe... just maybe... one of them will shoot out at the starting post and just swim like mad up to the finish line.... If I could line the path with directions for them I would... cause only a female sperm would stop and ask for directions.
-
Angel--Sorry... I didn't realize it was a problem! Open mouth, insert foot! We need some flashing neon signs to point out the way!! My fingers are SO crossed for you--I think I'd be happier with your BFP than my own! I have a private question for you, hope you don't mind if I PM you?
-
Not at all... go for it..... and dont worry to much... my foot lives in my mouth
-
Thanks, I've sent the PM!
-
Replied....
Well on that note... I m off to bed. Its 2.20 in the morning.. and tomorrow is my first day off in so long.... I ll be sleeping... cuddled up to DH under the dooner....I sooooo hope its raining tomorrow... LOVE dooner days when its raining.... maybe I should wear some ugly nightwear to bed tonight...just incase ;)
-
Thanks for staying up so late with me Angel! Enjoy sleeping in--I'm jealous, I can't seem to sleep later than 6:15! Good luck with the ugly nighties! Thanks again for your PM!
-
Hi ladies
Krystielove: Trying not to test early this month but new tests just came this morning, will see how long i last.
Tutmae:  it is implantation bleeding and you get your BFP soon.
Tina-k and Jen805 thanx for the :crossfingers:
Smilinatu: Hope the sickness means BFP for you soon
:pink-babydust::bluedust: for all.

Aww, tina, we'll all help you through whatever you have to deal with! You're strong, you got through your m/c, which is the hardest thing of all, so you'll get through it no matter what! I know it's really tough, but worrying about it and stressing out about it won't change the outcome, and will only make you feel anxious because you'll be anticipating being let down and depressed. Which, on one hand will make the high even better if you end up with a BFP, but on the other hand, will make the low that much worse if you get a BFN because you'll have been anticipating the let down for so long. Does that make any sense at all? Probably not, I know, but I just worry about you when I'm hearing that you don't know how you'll get through it if you get a BFN! My EDD is coming up in early Sept., so I truly understand how you feel, but have faith that you can and will get through anything that's put before you! Big, big, and hope you feel better soon!
Hi chappas! :hello: Got any of those tests left, or have you used them all up yet?
-
Tutmae - The cake turned out really well, and she even cleaned up as she went!! My obsessive compulsiveness must have rubbed off on her some where along the way. Can't say I'm dissapointed about that!
As for your AF/not AF... Sorry I can't help there. Could it be AF having trouble getting started? Or could it be an implantation bleed, or an O bleed? If it could be an implantation bleed, when do you think you O?
And don't worry about TMI - is there such a thing on here??!!
Easha - Where's your coverline? I think you'll get it tomorrow or the next day. If that's the case, I think you Oed on CD19 and so you're in good for a BFP this month.
KL - Would you like me to try and post you some birthday cake??? I'll take a photo before it leaves and you take a photo when it arrives, and we'll see how it's changed along the way!! It's chocolate though, and I'm not eating chocolate anything cause it contains caffine. So I think that's why she made it chocolate, so mum wouldn't eat it all on her!!!
That's so awesome that you're feeling a little funny in your tummy!! I really hope you're going to get a BFP. I think we will all get them this month, and then we can all go and hijack the PALMC (is that it) thread.
Smilanatu - I can't beleive you STILL haven't tested!! You are strong. I know what you mean though about not wanting a BFN. I was like that last time. If it's BFN you feel *****ty, so the longer you wait to find out, the longer you can stay hopeful.
How long have you been sick for? Most 'bugs' only last 24 or just over 24 hours. Keep spewin' and you're good to go!!!
But if you're not charting, we can't stalk your cycle!! :p
Jen/mum - Thanks so much! :loveshower: That's what I wanted to hear. Now that wasn't too hard was it? And who did it hurt? NO ONE!!
I have 5 green blocks leading up to and one following the day of O. Perhaps they're the days that we are fertile?? Just a guess.
I just had a look an your chart after hearing about your twinges. Perhaps you are on the way down, ready for a temp rise in the next day or two. Get that helmet on!!
My DH hasn't woken me up in the night for a :bd: for years!!
Angel - Are you able to wake up, take your temp and then go back to sleep on your daysoff? Or, you could just take it on the days that you work, at the same time, and leave the other days blank. Or you can take it every day when ever you wake up and just chagne the time on FF when you enter it. Also, you could one day, on your day off, take it at the early time, write it down, then go back to sleep, and take it an hour later, go back to sleep, etc, etc, until you get up. If you do this for a couple of days, it should give you a rough idea of how much you need to modify it. The later in the day you take it, the higher it will be. So you could figure out, that you increase by 0.1 every half hour, for example.
Hope this helps. GL. And make sure you put it on FF so we can stalk your cycle!
In regards to the BDing, I like to BD every second day (once a day if you can handle it) up to and the day of O (even do the day after, just to be sure). They say that if you do it too much, ie several times in a day, the number of sperm decreases with each ejectulation, so you don't want to wear yourselves out for nothing. I also think that just before you go to sleep is the best time to BD. This way you are horizontal for the next 7 (or in my case 9-10) hours and the little guys don't have to swim against gravity.
Looks like your wish of rain came true. It is such a good doona day. ENJOY!
Tina - Well let's just get you UTD, and then you'll be fine. And when I mean "let's", I really mean your DH, not us. But we're here cheering for you:cheer: When are you going to test? You're 10DPO aren't you? Waiting. .. waiting ... waiting ...
Vanaithi - Looks like your temp is on it's way up! Where's you BDing data. How are we supposed to convince you that you're going to get a BFP if we don't know when you :bd:?
Molly - Looks like your 5DPO. How you feeling?
AFM - Thanks to Angel Babies, it's raining in Brisbane, and from sitting here at the computer, my fingers are so cold they are about to snap off.
DD is having her sleep over birthday party today. 3 girls due to arrive in 1.5 hrs. Place is ready to be demolished. Just jokes. The girls that she has invited are really good (no wonder, they're from my class at school!!!) So I'm not too concerned.
Today I am 6DPO - bring on the weekend!!!! I'll be sooooo peeved if I'm not UTD, cause I'm wishing my holidays away. It better not be for nothing!
No sore BB's this morning. Feeling quite normal actually. But technically speaking, I really should have been feeling quite normal anyway, cause I won't implant until prolly day 9 anyway (according to last cycle's implant).
Have a great day everyone.
-

Are you charting?
-
yeah i am. il put a link on my signature now n u can look!
i could hav o'd earlier i guess... i dono. it just seems weird...........

A Funny Email I received
I just received this email from my cousin....
This is an actual letter from an Austin woman sent to American company Proctor and Gamble regarding their feminine products. She really gets rolling after the first paragraph. It's PC magazine's 2007 editors' choice for best webmail-award-winning letter.
Dear Mr. Thatcher,
I have been a loyal user of your 'Always' maxi pads for over 20 years and I appreciate many of their features. Why, without the Leak Guard Core or Dri-Weave absorbency, I'd probably never go horseback riding or salsa dancing, and I'd certainly steer clear of running up and down the beach in tight, white shorts. But my favorite feature has to be your revolutionary Flexi-Wings. Kudos on being the only company smart enough to realize how crucial it is tha t maxi pads be aerodynamic. I can't tell you how safe and secure I feel each month knowing there's a little F-16 in my pants.
Have you ever had a menstrual period, Mr. Thatcher? Ever suffered from the curse'? I'm guessing you haven't. Well, my time of the month is starting right now. As I type, I can already feel hormonal forces violently surging through my body. Just a few minutes from now, my body will adjust and I'll be transformed into what my husband likes to call 'an inbred hillbilly with knife skills.' Isn't the human body amazing?
As Brand Manager in the Feminine-Hygiene Division, you've no doubt seen quite a bit of research on what exactly happens during your customers monthly visits from 'Aunt Flo'. Therefore, you must know about the bloating, puffiness, and cramping we endure, and about our intense mood swings, crying jags, and out-of-control behavior. You surely realize it's a tough time for most women. In fact, only last week, my friend Jennifer fought the violent urge to shove her boyfriend's testicles into a George Foreman Grill just because he told her he thought Grey's Anatomy was written by drunken chimps. Crazy!
The point is, sir, you of all people must realize that America is just crawling with homicidal maniacs in Capri pants... Which brings me to the reason for my letter. Last month, while in the throes of cramping so painful I wanted to reach inside my body and yank out my uterus, I opened an Always maxi-pad, and there, printed on the adhesive backing, were these words:
'Have a Happy Period.'
Are you f****** kidding me? What I mean is, does any part of your tiny middle-manager brain really think happiness - actual smiling, laughing happiness is possible during a menstrual period? Did anything mentioned above sound the least bit pleasurable? Well, did it, James? FYI, unless you're some kind of sick S&M freak, there will never be anything 'happy' about a day in which you have to jack yourself up on Motrin and Kahlua and lock yourself in your house just so you don't march down to the local Walgreen's armed with a hunting rifle and a sketchy plan to end your life in a blaze of glory.
For the love of God, pull your head out, man! If you just have to slap a moronic message on a maxi pad, wouldn't it make more sense to say something that's actually pertinent, like 'Put down the Hammer'or 'Vehicular Manslaughter is Wrong', or are you just picking on us?
Sir, please inform your Accounting Department that, effective immediately, there will be an $8 drop in monthly profits, for I have chosen to take my maxi-pad business elsewhere. And though I will certainly miss your Flex-Wings, I will not for one minute miss your brand of condescending bulls***.
And that's a promise I will keep. Always.
Best,
Wendi Aarons

Hi Girls .....
Well after a few days off bb due to some computer problem (i tried and tried to get on but for some reason couldn't log on) talk about withdrawal. Not sure how long i'll be on this time, i was on for about two minutes a few days ago just enough time to read but not anything else.
I'll have to go back and catch up later on what everyone is up to.
Joey - today it's 5dpo (yesterday it was 9dpo) FF keeps changing everytime I enter a new temp (so not sure what i'm up to) had day 21 bt on sat so i'll ring today when i get the chance and see what thats up to.
OK - i'll be back in later :crossfingers:
-
Oh my goodness, so much wonderful girly banter in just a few days.
KrystieLove - curiously I had the same belly sensations very early on. Your dip looks promising. My first symptom was insomnia. I did not realise this was a symptom until I saw it here on an article on BB. I still have it - awake from 2pm-4pm last night.
AFM - Another BT today...
Just want to spread lots of :pink-babydust: C'mon guys. We need some more BFP's. I want some more buddies to share this PG with!
-
Jen: thanks so much sweetheart for your support?I know ill be able to get thru this with your support and the support of all the other wonderful ladies in here who know what im going thru. Please pray for me girls!!
Joey: im loving that letter?is it for real?!!!! Its too too funny!!!!
Yes, im 10 dpo, but AF not due till Sunday/Monday, so ill be resisting till then. As you said, im feeling quite ?normal? at the moment, so im not sure if that?s good or bad?..fingers are definitely still crossed?.it appears that this weekend there will a lot of POAS going on in here!!!
Thanks to all of you for your support?ill definitely be needing it in the next few weeks?oops?negativity again?..Hmmm?.?this months our month, this months our month, this months our month??.ahhh?that?s better!!!
:grouphug: to all!
-
um does anyone hav any answers to my problem?
here it is.....
i started bleeding last nite n it was like af but thinner and it has slowed this mornin but temp is high atm stil and im only 3dpo?? could it b af?? i wouldnt know........... cos i did have m/c last wk but that seems even in that situation to short of a luteal phase.....
help???
theres a link to my cahrt in my sig... pls help if u can?
-
Mollycat - I don't think FF knows what she's talking about. I think you O on CD15, you had EWCM around then too!!! So that means you are 10DPO. POAS POAS POAS !! The only reason FF thinks you O at CD 20 is cause of that temp droip. Did you take it at the same time as normal? Or was it a cold morning and the thermometer a little colder than normal, which may have cooled down that section of your mouth that you took your temp??
You'll ring about the blood test when you get a chance???? Are you crazy girl? I'd be on the phone now. You could be UTD!!! :excited: Although that would only be 5 or 6DPO, so it may not show. Were they doing a hGC test in amongst what ever else??????????
WTH - Looking forward to hearing the positive news from your BT. I'm doing my best to get a BFP. Just have to wait another few days ...... Sorry to hold you up!
Tina - I don't know if it's true. Says it is, but what can you really believe that comes around via email these days??
Lots of POAS this weekend. Oh, that reminds me. It's nearly the middle of the day, and I haven't had any water yet. Drink up girls - makes your CM easier for the :sperm: to swim through.
Teen - You have the link to the FF website. You need to find on that page where it says "home page set up" (just above the calendar). Click on this. Then it will give you an address of where your homepage is. That's the one you need to give us. Other wise I click on the FF link and it just goes to my own chart. I'll hang around so I can have a look when you have done that.
-
Hi all.
What's the difference between Creamy and Sticky CM on FF? I seem to think that mine is creamy now. 6DPO. When is it supposed to be sticky?
-
teen, i bled on and off for about a month after my MC, so maybe thats whats happening for you ?
-
its all sorted joey, try that :)
c if u can make anythin of it... FF said mayb menses? but i dono cos its so soon after 'o' and cos temp stil higher than normal and its slowed, the bleeding....
-
that could b it tina...
cos i had very lite bleeding on fri nite (pink n not red and went away after turning to discharge... TMI. then again on sunday and now just wat started last nite........
-
Tutmae - I hope your body decides what it's doing soon and lets you know!
Smilanatu - I hope you don't need to learn use a chart either!!! Bring on the BFP!
Jen - I'm always grumping with morning sex, lol! I hate mornings. I'd prefer that they just didn't exist hehe. Here's hoping that your temp dip is a pre-ovulation dip!!!
Angel Babies - I'm so sorry that your EDD passed. But on a positive note, you totally cracked me up with your comment that "only a female sperm would stop and ask for directions". I had the full visualisation going on in my head of a little pink sperm with a bow on her head stopping to ask your cervix for directions!
Chappas - I already caved. It's 8DPO and a BFN, but I figure I must be pregnant but it's too early to get two lines :D I try to bargain with myself that I will only test on "even" DPO days. Bring on 10DPO
Tina - No matter what happens this cycle we will all be here for you. Whether it's to celebrate your BFP with you, or to offer cyber hugs and support.
Joey - Your posts always get me giggling :D Hmmm, chocolate cake hey? I might have to give the caffeine cake a miss. Next time you'll have to tell DD that she needs to make a pregnancy-safe cake because Krystie said so ;)
Enjoy the sleep over fun!!!
Mollycat - Good luck with your BT results. I hope you ring them soon because we are all itching to know the results. I hope you get some great news :D
WTH - I had insomnia when I was pregant too, but I have a feeling it started about a week after I got my BFP. I'll just have to over-analyse ever other symptoms too ;)
Teen - After I lost my angel my ob told me that I could get my period days to weeks afterwards. Because it differs from woman to woman he couldn't really say what my body would do for the 1st couple of cycles. Even this month I ovulated about a week and a half late. Try not to stress too much, your body just needs time to heal and get back into it's normal rhythym. Good luck.
AFM - My temp went back up today and left a nice looking dip on my chart. Fingers crossed!
-
krystie
Krystie: thank you sweets:hug:
So when is AF actually due? I thought the rules were that you don't get an accurate reading until your AF is due. Maybe its just too soon?hmmm, bring on the weekend!!!! Im going to test on Sunday (if I can convince DH!! he wants to wait till a week after AF is due...doesnt want to see a BFN) AS IF im going to be able to wait that long! Ha!
By the way, your chart is looking pretty fab at the moment too! Its very similar to mine
Im just praying so hard that the temps (for both mine and yours) stay up there...I hate it when they come crashing down. but thats not going to happen for us this month is it??!!:)
-
Teen - Sorry I took a while. I have a 10th birthday party going in the back ground and a 1 and 2 year old running around too. Ahhhhh!
I've had a look at your chart, and due to the spotting you've been having, I think it's still part of your MC. Does this seem possible to you?
I don't think you've Oed yet. I think those high temps could be due to MC??? Is your temp normally around here? Do you have any previous cycles you can put onto FF to compare??
KL - I am so much like you, I'm a wicked witch in the mornings! Not as wicked as AF though!!
That BFN is only cause you're 8DPO, give it another go at 10DPO. You'll be right - positive thinking. You just haven't given the little bubba time enough to make up some hCG!
Sleep over fun? Hmmm. Not sure if it will be that. I hope it'll be ok. Keep up the chatter in here, and I should survive just fine. I'll let DD know that she needs to make UTD-safe cake.
Implantation Dip! Yeah!!!!
WTH - I couldn't sleep the nights following my BFP last time either. I just thought it was cause I was soooo excited!!
AFM - Still waiting ....
-
Tina - I think they just say wait till AF is due cause by then there would be enough hCG in your system to show on a test. You would very very rarely get a false positive, but you can often get a false negative if you test too early.
So, if you test now and you get a BFP, then you are UTD, but if you get a BFN it either means that you are not UTD or O date may have been later than estimated and you haven't left enough time after implantation to allow the baby hormone to produce enough to show on the stick.. Make sense??
:happyforyou: Test for me!!! :happyforyou:
-
joey
joey, your too funny:rofl:
im going to be strong...i can wait a few more days...i think!!!
good luck with the party!!! when are you due to test?
-
Tina,
I'm 6DPO today, so I'm going to test at 10DPO (Saturday) and then every 2nd day after that.

iv had m/c before.... and my temp never rose. it dropped a couple of degrees after my last D&C and the OB said i wasnt supposed to get heavy bleeding.... not like this. he said lite spotting for two or three days would b ok but excess a sign sumthin mite b wrong.... :(
and he told me not to worry if i ovulated cos he expected it in the nxt wk due to no hcg in blood or urine and a clean procedure but didnt kno whether my body would allow me to get pregnant til nxt cycle... but he said i mite hav irregular periods but my last m/c didnt affect af at all..... n i dono wat to do..... :crying:
