You're an ambitious girl--every day until AF! I remember saying that very same thing... I just didn't have the stamina to keep up with it! We did have a great night of 5x in 1 night, but it wasn't at a time when it counted (eek, that sounded bad--totally unintended, I just mean as far as TTC). I aim to get through 7 days straight next week! That's my story and I'm sticking to it! I plan on using my last 2 packs of Preseed, as well--:crossfingers: it helps--I could really use the good news! I was really bummed the other day when AF came, since a BFP last month would've put me at a EDD of 3/4/09 (my m/c was 3/5, the day before my b-day :( ) Would've made for a happier b-day present to myself than the last one!
-
:( Was just looking something up, and came to a site I must've gone to when I was pg. It said "welcome back Jenny, your baby is 30 weeks today... :( What a downer.... I think I'll go :wall:
-
Aw hon  Things like that always happen at the most inopportune time. Don't let it get you down, though. That BFP is just around the corner!!
-
Thanks, Tutmae... I feel a lot better since I got to vent and whine!
-
Man jen...so sorry! I feel like I have been dealing with our loss pretty good then last week I went to the mail box and BOOM...a box of formula...it hit me hard I think I cried for 6 hours.
-
 thanks smilanatu! Seems like it's always at the most inopportune time, too! Sorry for your experience, as well!
-
I think I've decided not to sleep anymore - you guys are just so busy during our night time, I feel like i'm missing out or something. No seriously, me without sleep just isn't worth mentioning.
Betty - your results are looking good
WTH - What wonderful results - you must be feeling a lot more relaxed now. Start enjoying this pg, cause they go so fast it will be over before you know it and you'll have your little bubba in your arms.
AJC - You sound really happy at the moment. All the best for next Thurs. Not that you'll need any good wishes cause everything is just fine.
Jen and Smilanatu - they always sneak up on you don't they. I had forgotten about my SIL until my mother rang and told me. It's just a matter of really bad timing. Considering how my clients baby doesn't affect me that way at all, i'm just a little sad that she won't have a playmate when I look after her when mum goes back to work in January. Maybe she'll have a belly to play with :crossfingers: instead.
As for fuel we're in NSW we pay anywhere between $1.50 upwards for petrol but we also have diesel vehicles and fuel for that is $1.90 average. We don't drive as much as we used to.
Tutmae - good luck with the swimmers this month.
-
mollycat-- That's exactly how I feel about all the chatting you girls do while I'm sleeping! But there's more of you girls than us US girls, so we always miss out on so much more! I've often thought of just staying up all night long, but I'm pretty grumpy when I do get enough sleep, so for the sake of my kids, sleep always wins! So $1.50 for gas, how much to fill up your vehicle? Unfortunately I win in the most expensive gas in the US category! Sometimes it's a bummer to live in California!!
-
Tina - I KNOW! It's like the whole world is pregnant!! The first eppisode of Private Practice on Sunday night, and what happens? A baby is delivered! Leave us alone!!!
Is this 2WW ever going to end? Experience tells me it will, but I am starting to doubt myself! We may be stuck in a time tunnel that we will never escape!
Smilanatu - "Errection rejection" - I like it. Well, hang on, no I hate it, but I like the phrase!!
AFM - Three chears for DH. He came through with the goods!! :excited: I was a bit stressed for a while there. It was taking a long time for him to deposit his little :sperm: and I thought there may have been a "I'm done" when really he wasn't done! For this reason I had to orgasim before him (sorry if TMI), as this usually does the trick. I was hoping to wait until after him so I could help those little swimmers to their destination. Just had to settle with my legs up the wall instead
And this morning, my temp is through the roof, so I'm wondering if that one would have even done the job or not. Opinions please (the link to my chart is below). I did, however, get a coverline this morning, so that is very exciting :hooray:
We were supposed to be going up the Sunny Coast this weekend, camping. DH was supposed to have today off and we were going to have a wonderful, relaxing, egg implanting in my uterus, weekend. Seems the sunny coast is not that sunny after all. :( Oh well. DH decided to go to work - leaving me free to chat with the girls. There's no point in him using up an RDO when we're not going anywhere. Perhaps next weekend will be sunny and we can go then.
** DOn't forget to check out my chart please **
Also can you take the poll on the site ... pregnant or not. It will be interesting to see the results!!
Bring on 14DPO!

Hi girls,
Im going to bbl for more but...in SA we are paying $1.69 today and $1.98 for diesel :(
How much money do they think we have?????....bloody taxes!!!!

Good morning everyone. It's Friday - my favourite day of the week :D
AJC - we are going to stick to one pessarie a night before my next BT on Tuesday. I could really feel it's affects yesterday, so figure I am responding well. US is booked for 8 weeks (my new OB's protocol), but I will get a peek at 7 weeks (Monday week) when I see my original OB (long story, he is cutting down his practice but seeing me for a few weeks as I am high risk). His machine is not great, but can usually pick up a HB at 6.5 weeks :crossfingers: Congratulations to you on passing the 10 week milestone. Apparently the risk drops dramatically at that point (and then again further at 12 weeks).
MegsMum - thanks. Good luck with Cycle 2 :pink-babydust:
Joey - you are such a character! Coverline comes 3 days after elevated temps. I can add to your list of crazy things to do when TTC. On top of his vitamis I made DH eat precisely 8 brazil nuts every night and have exactly 2 cups of coffee every day for sperm motility. Bl#%dy Friends. We pre-record it each night and watch it with dinner after we get DD to bed. I got really annoyed with how Rachel got the BFP and instantly thought she was having a baby. I wish it was as simple as that! I am a self-confenssed Bold and the Beautiful fan, and Taylor was also pregnant the same time as my last PG so it was not much fun to watch after I MC and she delivered.
BettyBoop - glad you are still rolling on your high. You deserve it!!
TinaK - totally agree. These movie stars have made it look easy to conceive in the 40's, but I have found out some of them have had help, eg: donor eggs. I wish I had known this sooner. I had an unrealistic idea of how late we could leave it. I also wish I could have the movie star treatment during PG. I'm willing to pay for it, but it doesn't work that way. Imagine - I bet they can have an ultrasound, BT or procedure any time they fancy. I have to book our US 3-4 weeks out.
KrystieLove - thanks for the reassurance on the HCG doubling. I read somewhere in the early days it should double every 30.9 hours. Then I have read up to 72 hours. I guess I was a little bothered because this is the same time that my HCG slowed down last PG, despite the HB. Next BT Tuesday. Anyway, good luck with the 2WW, my dear! I will be seeking a lovely implantation dip on your chart in the coming days!
Smilantu - I have just worked out why your name is Smilantu. Bit late on the uptake there, wasn't I. I don't think I had much foresight when I came up with Where there's hope. Was trying to be meaningful. Wasn't terribly functional.
Jen - Don't you dare let DF off his BD duties next week. And, from what I hear from what the girls have written here, you're gorgeous and do not need the vids. Maybe you could have some fun and make one? ;) He sounds very wild, you lucky gal. Alot of my smilies on my list don't work - does that happen to you? Jen - I truly believe in the PreSeed. The two cycles last cycles I have used it are the two I have conceived. There is more than you need in each pack. We have talked before about dividing it into two. You will have to use your imagination has to how. But I do think it will improve your odds. I am so glad you have it.
Tutmae - Thank you. Can I suggest if you are getting O pains that you keep BD'ing until they have gone? You may already know this but apparently you can get them in the days leading up to, during and after O. And apparently you should BD one day after O because you can release a second egg within 12-24 hours from the first one. I'm no expert, just internet-addicted to the concept of TTC. Good luck with the 2WW :pink-babydust:
Mollycat - Hi there and thanks. Good luck during the 2WW. :pink-babydust:
Issy - nice to see you. I miss your posts. This must be a busy time near O for you. Good luck catching the eggie, hon!
AFM - ok. Next BT Tuesday so will keep myself busy until then. Not many symptoms at all, just a bit tired. But this is normal for me until about 7-8 weeks.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE !
-
I thought the thread was awfully quiet - forgot to go to the next TWO pages since my last entry...
Jen - That's a very convincing Joey impression. I thought you were trying to be me for a minute, then I noticed your italics! Well done!!!
Turns out, that I didn't have to pick up DH after all. I was trying soooo hard to stay awake, but me, being the nana that I am, gave into my eye lids at about 9.30pm. Then I wake up and he's beside me. I was very confused. You know when some one wakes you out of a deep sleep... I was like, how did you get here, you're not supposed to be here, I'm waiting for my phone to ring so I can come and pick you up!
I was sooooo lucky that he woke me and didn't just slip quietly into bed. I was dead to the world and would never have woken! Phew!! So no, it didn't start on the way home!
So are you going to video tape your BDing whilst jumping from an aeroplane? I'd like to see that!! Just don't get too carried away and forget to pull the cord! May be you could pull it really early. That would give you extra lovin' time!! I'm assuming you're not tandem sky diving? Cause you would be tied to his back, or visa versa. Hang on, that could work ...
Can I suggest that if you put wheels on your bed and move it to the top of the stairs, that you wear a helmet?
Pirhannas, sharks, eels, otters!! How about stone fish? OMG what have we come to
How do you remember all those girls and who's UTD and who's trying? You've got a list on your desk, don't you!
Petrol (as we call it down here) is about $1.50/L. Dunno how that equates to up there. Here's a web site for you: MotorMouth - Fuel Prices and Petrol Prices Australia We fill our car for about $70 and that lasts about 2 weeks. Before I MC I was riding my bike to school with DD so then a tank would last about 3 weeks. Now I'm too scared to ride my bike, unless it's just a casual stroll. But it's 7.5km to school and you can't just casually stroll there or it would take you a life time!!
5 in one night? I've never done that in my life! 4 is my max, and that was with DH within our first couple of months. We're lucky to go 2 days in a row!!
I had to log onto a site and de-register my self cause it sent me emails each week about what your baby is up to and how bug he/she is, etc. It's a real kick in the guts!
Tutmae - I can't beleive your bed rolled THAT far across the room. That could mean some very strange and exciting BDing episodes coming up??
Your petrol is expensive over there!
I think you have a pretty good chance of getting a BFP this month. If your DH has swimmers from the olympic team, well we all know that our Aussie olympic swimmers are the best in the world, so you should be right!!
WTH - And Rachel is 2 months preg already!! And she's eating candy bars, and drinking coffee. What's going on!! Sorry, can't comment on Bold and the Beautiful. Don't watch that one. Can imagine how painfull it would have been though. Here's a thought. Why doesn't anyone ever MC on TV? Do they think that if they don't show it, it will go away?
I noticed you mentioned to KL about an implantation dip. I haven't heard of that. I will have to keep an eye out on my chart too. Thanks for the heads up! I'll go and check my last chart, see if I had one ... Hmm, seems I may have had one the day before I tested. My chart from the last preg is really weird cause I don't know when I O. It can't be when FF says so, cause we BDed 6 days before then. And I love my DH dearly, but he drinks and smokes and drinks coffee, so I don't think that his sperm would have lasted 6 days. Or may be they did and so they were old and may be that's why I MC, cause the sperm wasn't healthy enough??? We had 11 days off BDing. We BDed at CD 13 and again at CD 24. Hmmm
OK so you have figured out why her name is Smilantu. Care to share? You recon you're a bit late on the uptake ... least you got it!
Who was I talking to the other day about my U/S and being able to get in straight away? Sorry. It was Savage X-Ray. savage x-ray | digital diagnostic imaging Never actually got that far, so can't comment on the service sorry.
Tutmae - Thanks for the BDing info around O pain. Didn't know that there was a chance of a 2nd egg released.
Wow, check out the time difference between my last post and this one. Nearly an hour worth of reading and typing. Phew.
:bluedust: :stickyvibesgirl: to you all xx
-
joey--:woot: nice coverline and temp this morning!! Oops, but forgot about the poll, will go back in a few to do that! Hip, hip, hooray for DH!! :cheer: Sorry to hear about your ruined camping plans (there's a familiar story!) but at least we get to talk to you now!
Hi issy! So what does $1.69 mean in gallons? How much does it cost to fill 'er up? Hope things are going well with you, look forward to hearing from you later! :)
WTH--I could never watch a video with me in it! I would be horrified--I'm a terrible judge on myself! I would just sit there picking out flaws... I'm sure it would make DF very happy, though--it's been mentioned before, but I never let it get farther than that! I'm actually (despite how I may make myself sound) a very shy person! I have to repeat, I just could never watch something with me in it! Good luck with your upcoming scan!!
-
Wow - night times are when it all happens in here. I'm in the wrong time zone!
WTH - thanks for your words this morning, that made me feel very calm. If you feel that one per night is working then it must be, I think intuition is very strong when you are pg so your body must be telling you what it needs. Good luck, have a nice relaxing weekend and I'm sure your results on Tue will be fab. And yes - Fridays are the best day aren't they
jen - at least you have Disneyland in California. he he he. Fuel prices are outrageous atm. Sorry about your 'welcome back' msg, made me sad to read that. It's terrible when something comes back to haunt you.
mollycat - your chart is looking good, some nice temp rises. GL!!! Not sure where my strength atm has come from but am gonna roll with it?
joey - glad to hear that ewcm didn't go wasted.
Sending you all lots and lots of :bluedust::pink-babydust: - roll around and play in it ladies because I have a feeling there are going to be some more BFP's in here very very soon!!!!!
-
joey--Oh, hell, I won't be doing any jumping from planes! That's all DF, he can just have his daydream on the way down! Oh, I get it--you thought I was being you because I said my best "Joey" impression! Sorry, I'm a little slow! Good one! I'm still :chair: You could "hear" him through my italics, couldn't you? lol... Hey, so are you saying you want to watch a video of me and DH BD'ing while jumping from a plane--you dirty girl! And.... as a matter of fact, I DO have a list on my desk--no way I can remember all those names!
-
Thanks, AJC, big  I'm feeling better about it now! I'm excited for you for your scan, can't wait to hear about it!
-
Jen - hope you don't think I'm a pervert!! Just thought it would be VERY interesting to see :p
-
  It's ok to be a pervert!
