AFM - AF is in full swing (a bit painful, probably due to my 5 minute PG earlier this week). But the good news is I am allowed to start jabbing tonight for my next IVF cycle so already something new and positive to focus on.
Have a great weekend
WTH x
Issy - great to hear that you had such a reassuring scan! Hope 12 weeks gets to you before you know it :)
WTH - Sorry to hear about AF being painful ... and I am a bit behind, but just wanted to say I am sorry to hear you had another loss over the new year  You sound like you are being very positive though, and def sound like you have the storm-trooper boots on! Good luck with this IVF cycle :crossfingers:
(The lovely) Jen - how are you doing hun?
and to all the newcomers - I am sorry your journey has brought you sadness, you will find all of the support, understanding and encouragement you could wish for here...
AFM - hanging out for my big 2nd tri scan on 30 Jan (20 more sleeps!).... just want to know that all continues to go well for Bub ... using the doppler regularly for a bit of reassurance - think I would have definitely been a complete basketcase without it. This way I can maintain a bit of zen ;)
Positive vibes for 2009 ladies, and masses of :bluedust::pink-babydust::bluedust::pink-babydust: for you all
xx
Hi Ladies
WTH - I am going to wait until next week - Wed or Thurs if F hasn't arrived by then. I will let you all know what happens. I am keeping you in my thoughts with your next IVF.
Hannah - thanks! I think I might have a small cold as I have a really sore throat (which is why I have probably been feeling sorry for myself). Nothing serious I just need to rest! I have tomorrow off so I am going to try and do as little as possible - even though I say that and then get into a cleaning bug mood lol
Issy - Congrats on your excellent scan results! :leap:
Rach - Maybe we should compare charts! two heads might be better than one! I am looking at testing next Wed or Thurs if AF hasn't shown up.
Shortcake - Welcome! This is a great forum and the girls are wonderful. They have certainly been my lifeline. All the best for TTC.
AFM - AF is still no show but I have been 5 days late before so I am not getting excited yet. Still having some minor cramping but then it goes away?!?! I have decided I am going to tidy my shoes up tomorrow as they are lying in 2 layers on my cupboard floor - and I seriously don't think I need that many shoes!!!
I did buy some wedding shoes yesterday - there was a 50% off sale - so who could resist!! At least when it comes to setting a date I will already have one thing off the list
I am nursing a sore throat at the moment so I am going to take it pretty easy as I have a hectic work schedule for the next 2 weeks.
Other than that DF and I are going to DTD 2 to 3 times a week and see if that gets us any closer to our goal! That is if AF shows up.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend! xxxx
Thank you to everyone for the positive messages. My husband and I are trying our best to stay positive. The doctor said to test on the 15th if AF doesn't come! Five more days! =) :pink-babydust:For everyone and
Rach & Shortcake::welcome: I'm so sorry for the loss of your little ones. My heart goes out to you. We all know that kind of pain and I want to let you know you are among loving and caring AMAZING women ♥
To all my girlies: Thank you for thinking of me.... I POASed today with 3 HPTs I even put my hubby to see and the ALL were snow white BFNs.:crying: I'm sad.. but I know it's best. Maybe in the summer.
I spoke to my Mom ... she had surgery on one of her breasts a few years ago to remove a "lump"..which THANK GOD it was not harmful.( the doc said that since she never had kids.. (I'm adopted) she never breastfed and her milk glands became calcified (with calcium accumulations from old milk of an unsuccessful pregnancy she once had followed by a hysterectomy) She went for her regular checkup and the mammogram came out with "something" again...we are SCARED outta our wits... I hope it's the same thing as the last time.. but regardless she will need surgery again on that breast and it's scary. She is in Dominican Republic and right now I have no way of flying down there to be with her. All I can do is pray and talk to her on the phone. :(
Right now I don't even want to be upset about the BFN... I'm upset about my mom and I'm just praying it is harmless. She will need surgery. But what I pray for is that it's NOT CANCER!!!!!!!!!:crying:
I wish you all met her she is amazing... My biological mom just gave birth to me.. I was placed in my mothers arms minutes after birth.. SHE is AMAZING and I'm ever so grateful that of all women it was HER the one to be my mother!!!! Please pray for my mother. I love her so much and it will KILL me if anything happens to her. She gave me her all and someone once told me... Anyone can have children.. but NOT everyone is a MOTHER!!! she is on of those... .. I'm crying right now. I'm so sorry.
Please.. Please pray for my mom. :(
If you want to see who this amazing woman is.. ( I don't know how to post pics here I can e-mail you her pic) here is my e-mail if you want so I can reply with a pic of her.. :(

Ruthie
Hi Girls
Im new to this thread. We had a mc chrissie day at 7w (you might have seen my other post) not really sure where im at now with my cycle but ive read that the day you stop bleeding is day one so that makes me on day 6. It was our first and very much planned pregnancy we were temping, OPKs etc etc.
I think now while we very much want to try again (I miss being pregnant even though it was only for a little bit) Im not up to temping etc so we are just going to see what happens for the next couple of months. I will then prob start obsessing again if nothing happens.
DH is taking me to Sydney for a week which will be nice to get away from it all and have some us time.
Baby dust to all :)
Sorry for the short post, will come back and do persies later. I just wanted to say...
Ruthie - I am so sorry about your BFN hun  My mother also had a scare (which thankfully turned out to be nothing, it was so scary though as her sister has had breast cancer). I am  for your mum and wish you and your family all the best. Take care xx
Shortcake - Sorry, I don't think I said hi in my last post. Sorry for your loss and the fact you have to be here, best of luck on your TTC journey. :crossfingers: for the 15th!
Sorry have to go now, will be back later..........
Ruthie - for your Mum. My Mum had a lump a few years ago (was not cancerous thankfully) and that was very scary. Sending you & your Mum a big hug and  that it's benign.
jenushka - yay, so excited to see your post and your ticker. Wow - almost half way, am so happy for you.
Big Hugs and babydust for everyone.
WTH - I'm sorry AF is being hard on you. But good on you for being positive and looking forward. Goodluck with the IVF cycle. I  it brings your forever baby.
jenushka - I look forward to hearing the good news from your upcoming scan.
Theresa - Glad you're feeling better and I hope that sore throat doesn't get any worse.
Ruthie - I'm sorry about the BFN. Your mother is in my thoughts and I'm  that all will be fine.
pandagirl - I am sorry for your loss. The women here are AMAZING. Goodluck on your TTC journey and enjoy some relaxed time alone with DH.
Hello
This is my first time in this forum - first, you are all so amazing to be able to keep track of everyone and what is going on!!! Second, I am sorry to the depths of my heart that we are here but love the fact that so many people can take so much time out to provide support for so many people.
Third, Ruthie - I hope your mum comes through alright with something of a benign nature  - it is awful what the wait can do to everyone - my DP's mum was diagnosed with breast cancer just after we found out we were pregnant again in August last year - she had a partial mastectomy and is still on chemo until March this year - but she is one of those stoic country lasses who just smiles through it while chewing on the fence post (no disrespect intended - but they breed em tough) - DP and DD are going over in a few weeks to Darwin to look after her. Unfortunately she got really excited about the second grandchild but we lost it in September.
Now - here we are - NYE BD and Ov on the dot - waiting - waiting - well, doing lots of other stuff too - but you know the TWW routine. Am hopeful - there are lots of really good positives about my last cycle but you don't like to get too pent up about it if you can. Day 28 is Mon 19 - so I will focus on all of the epic collections of things that I need to have done by then and hopefully the sweeping in of new energy will encourage a similar outcome.
Much love and laughter to everyone here - I will endeavour to hone the fluffy thinking and get on top of the roll call!!:D
:bluedust: to all TTC and :stickyvibesgirl: to all who are waiting for their babes
Karen van
Karen - :welcome: Sorry you need to be here but you have found a thread with the most wonderful, supportive women. I joined in Oct and wouldn't have survived the last few months without them all. Best of luck with your TTC and :crossfingers: you get a BFP at the end of this cycle!
Pandagirl - Sorry for your loss, it must have been a very hard Christmas for you and your family :( Good idea to try not to obsess (I am trying the same but I am not doing all that well ). Enjoy your time away with your DH, sometimes 'escaping' for a little while can be just what the Dr ordered!
Theresa - Hope you feel better soon, make sure you rest tomorrow. Great bargain on the wedding shoes ;)
Jenuska - How exciting about your scan, look forward to hearing all about it! Glad the doppler is easing your anxiety, I think when I fall pg I may have to invest in one as I know I will just stress otherwise!
WTH - Sorry AF has been hard on you this month  She was a b!tch to me as well! Good luck with your next IVF cycle :bluedust:
Hannah - Hi!
Megsmum - How are you going?
Hi to everyone else, hope everyone had a great weekend :)
AFM - Well AF has finished - thank goodness! Since the m/c AF generally only lasts for 2 days at the most so at least I am not in pain for too long. This was a particulary painful one.
Counting down the days until we see the FS (this Thurs) so I can discuss having the lap. So hoping we can arrange it for Feb, I really want to get it over and done with so we know one way or the other. I have done heaps of reading on endo and I have a number of the symptoms and I read it is also commonly misdiagnosed as IBS which I was disagnosed with about 6 or 7 years ago. Not that I want to have it but at the same time I really want some answers and a reason as to why we can't seem to fall pg after all this time (iykwim).
Going to a wedding in Melbourne in 3 weeks so looking forward to that. It gives us something to focus on as I feel like I am just filling in time until I can have the lap and go from there. Not sure if we will have to stop TTC this cycle, depends when the op will be done I guess.
Good morning girls! I know I've been quiet for a couple days... didn't even bother changing my mood status until just now, and I've not been the most pleasant person to be around lately! If only men could experience AF just ONCE!! *rolling eyes and cursing* I think they'd be much more sympathetic and understanding! lol... ok, off for persies... so much to catch up on!
Indy--Thanks for thinking of me! Feeling.... well, at least tolerant... but it sure beats the "grumpy" alternative! Sorry to hear about your BFN--I know it's been a couple days, but it's still a kick in the gut. *hugs*
babymiracles--Congrats on a successful egg collection! Praying for lots of eggs to :fertilise:
Mel--AF kicking my butt this month, as well! Glad to hear her stay with you was short--hopefully she'll be just as obliging for me... although day 3 and still very crampy and heavy... so I'm thinking noooo, probably not so lucky! Best of :goodluck: with your FS appt on Thursday. At least when you have the answers, you can work on fixing the problem (if need be)! *hugs*
plc--Sorry I missed you on Fri! Your mom's staying with you atm, isn't she? Hope you're getting lots of help and are able to catch up on some missed sleep! How's Damon liking being a big brother? for you and April!
Zachary's mom (Theresa)--Ooh, nice bargain on the shoes! Can't ever miss out on a bargain--especially when wedding's are so d@mn expensive to begin with! So it's been a couple days since your last post...hopefully I'm not too late in sending you some :noaf: vibes!
Shortcake--So sorry to hear of the loss of your baby girl! While a m/c is hard enough to deal with, it's especially difficult during the holiday season... :comfort: I'm glad that of all the places you could be, you've found us! I'm also happy to say, Yay... another U.S. gal!! Sending lots of anti-AF vibes!
Rach--Sending you some :noaf: and keeping my fingers crossed for POAS Wed!!
issy--Congrats on a great scan! :leap: I saw your little bean in the u/s pic in the gallery!! Keep growing strong and healthy for mama, little one!! :stickyvibesgirl:
Hi and big  for AJC & Samuel!
HannahD--Hey hon... thinking of you and hope you're doing well! Haven't seen an update on you in a couple days!
WTH--Looks like we're still cycle buds at the moment--yay! I take that very seriously... I still call Megsmum my cycle bud, and she's already UTD!! lol... So the jab-off commences again--remember it's for a great cause! As always, saying lots of positive  as your next IVF cycle begins! big *hugs*
jenushka (the other lovely jen!)--OMG, second trimester already?!?! Where does the time go? Best of :goodluck: with your next scan on the 30th--that's my mom's b-day, so it's sure to be a lucky day!! *hugs*
Ruthie--Oh, hon... I  the Lord cuts you a break this year... you sure could use one! *hugs* As sorry as I am to hear about your BFN's, with your current financial situation, and the stress due to your poor mom...maybe it's a blessing in disguise. I hope you know I mean that out of love and respect... because, of course, a baby at any time is a blessing... but YKWIM, right? I feel like I'm putting my foot in my mouth... sorry if I have! I'm keeping you and your mom at the top of my prayers... I lost my aunt and my dad to cancer, so I know how scared you're feeling! Lot's of love, hon... Oh, do you have Facebook? If so, look me up: jennyor4. Remember, you can upload photos here, too, in the gallery... it's right up there at the top! Would love to see a pic of your mom!
PandaGirl--:welcome: and HUGE  I'm so, so, so sorry to hear of your loss--especially on Christmas day! You're in my thoughts and prayers! Enjoy your time away with your DF!
Karen van--Welcome! And, you're right, the support the girls so freely give around here... it's amazing! Saying lots of prayers that your TWW ends with a BFP!!
Have to shower... will do more persies later! :grouphug: for everyone!
Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that AF doesn't come on the 15th. No signs of her yet!
Ruthie-I am sorry to hear about your BFN. Hopefully next month you get your BFP. Also very sorry to hear of your mom. She is in my thoughts and prayers and I hope everything turns out ok.
PandaGirl-Sorry to hear of your loss. I wish you the best of luck TTC this month!
Mel-Thank you! I am even crossing my toes! Lol. I hope all goes well at the FS!
Karen Van-Welcome and Best of luck TTC this month.
Jen-Hopefully AF is gone and your are feeling alot better. I know I am a miserable person to be around when I have her.
Everyone else sending lots of :pink-babydust::bluedust: !and :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl:
Shortcake - YAY hope no signs og AF means no is coming for you!!!
Mel - Hope you can have the lab in febuary!!! I had one done many yrs ago now, as my tubes are blocked. You know they told me i only had a 25% chance of having kids. Well ethan came on the pill, and Lilli, well she was special. But it will be great for you guys to get some answers. And Melbourne sounds lovely. A nice break for you guys.
Karen Van - oh how exciting. Hope you get a BFP soon!!!
Ruthie - I hope your mum gets the all clear sweety!!! My mum had the same operation only 6mths ago, she got all cleared, and like your mum this was her 2nd lump removed. It is so scary and honestly im  for your mum!!!
Well ladies im out The wicked witch arrived early this morning, and oh my, im in all sorts. My back is killing me, and my guts feel like they are being ripped apart - grrrr. So AF was 5 days late, im wondering if this means my body is going to have a longer cycle from now on. Only time will tell.
Good news, we picked our little kitten up yesterday, and she is just so cute!! We got a little burmese, and have named her Syrah. Ethan is wrapped in her, and won't leave the poor little thing alone. He carry's her everywhere, and has showed her all his toys. He is such a sweet boy at times.
Ladies, i do have a question. Ok so if i fall this mth, bubs will be an october baby. Though if i don't, and TTC next mth, bubs will actually be due around Lilli's 1yr anniversary. Now going that both my kiddies have been early, if bubs was to come in that novemebr, that would be around ethan's b/day. So what im asking i really don't want to have a baby in november for both of the above reasons. Do you guys think im over thinking??? I honestly can think of nothing worse then a baby to be around the same time i put Lilli to rest.
Oh please have a look, this is my princess Lilli's page Login | Facebook
Feel free to join, and have alook at her photo's, video's etc... I just needed to do a special pg just for her.
6 DPO and going absolutely crazy! :'( I think if we're not pregnant this cycle I'll have to have a break because it's all too much and Ollie's due date is fast approaching... I don't think I can handle another cycle.
