megsmum - :hello: :stickyvibesboy: How are you doing?
Lisa - Hi. We haven't met before. :goodluck: as you continue your TTC journey.
plc - Thanks, as always, for the well wishes. :bellyrubs:
jen - Hi *waving*. I'll second your "Thank God for BB!" I spoke to my grandmother the other day about my m/c for the first time. She had 2 herself and I asked her how she coped given that it was a time when no one talked about it and she said she took a lot of tranquilisers for awhile. Made me realise that, if we have to experience this then at least its in the age of computers and the internet. to you hun.
maternalbride - I'm so sorry about the BFN :comfort:
AFM - My boss took some time to speak to me today to make sure I was okay since I'd had a day off last week after my cousin upset me. He didn't need a full explanation of what had happened, he just offered his support. It just gave me a reason to smile today. Take care of yourselves ladies and don't be afraid to take time out when you need it.
-
Hi everyone,
MaternalBride - Sorry about the BFN, when were you supposed to test, could it have been too early?
HannahD - :hello: Glad to hear you are feeling better, your boss sounds so nice! Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately, just been so busy and was sick over the weekend so didn't go near the computer. Trying to concentrate on Christmas so I don't think about other things! It isn't working that well though :(
Lisa - We haven't met, sorry you have to share this journey with all of us. Best of luck!
plc - OMG - 5 more days - how exciting!!!!! :leap:
Megsmum - How are you going?
Smi - started yet?
Toccara - : hug: Sometimes fate forces us to confront things we have been trying to avoid which is not always a bad thing. I think we have all been guilty at some point of trying to stay strong and to just keep going. I think the healthiest thing we can do is stop and take time to reflect, vent, cry, scream, get angry and throw things - whatever works for you. Give yourself time to grieve and hopefully you can start to heal. for your 2009 forever baby. I agree with the other girls as well, I would be asking for a referral to a FS. Hope you find some answers.
Theresa -
jen - Know exactly how you feel, our angel would have been almost 6 months at Christmas. Old enough for their eyes to light up with all the presents and to have a photo with Santa, it's a hard time of year. *sigh* So glad we all have each other here at BB!
Polly -Best of luck for this cycle.
Emmanue - so sorry for your loss. Please do not feel ashamed. It can take a while to realise but there is nothing any of us could have done to prevent our m/c. I carried so much guilt around for a long time until it really sunk in that nothing I did or didn't do would've have changed what happened. Hope you can find some :comfort: here, I know I did.
Hi to Mannie, mollycat, WTH, babymiracles, krystielove, fifi, ruthie, mum's the word, possums, easha, hannahs and anyone else I may have missed.
Sorry I didn't get to write persies for everyone, still not feeling 100% so I am a bit tired.
-
jen - *hugs* good to see you again, ykwim. I hope Yuletide treats you well. There is some B6 in the pregnancy supplements I have, so I'll use them for now and try to pick up some B6 next time I go shopping.
maternalbride - sorry to hear about your bfn :( They're always difficult to deal with, and my advice is to just curl up, take care of yourself, watch some dvds, etc etc.
mel1979 - good to meet you (under the circumstances). Best of luck to you also!
Hannah - Hi there :) And thanks for the clover!
AFM - well today is cycle day 15, and I am having serious ovulation pains. I'd somehow forgotten that I get them. My cycles are always strange, varying between 26 and 28 days, but usually 26. Are ovulation pains meant to come before or after you ovulate? I'd always assumed before... Well, DH and I got in 2 BD's yesterday, so hopefully there's a good supply of swimmers seeking out the egg *fingers crossed* Feels odd in a way, to be thinking about this stuff again. Our baby, well, the one which pregnancy lasted for the longest, and hit us the hardest, was due on December 24th last year. Hopefully I don't get too upset this year. It's been a good year for us, and I'm feeling generally very content and settled.
xx

Hello all you beautiful ladies
Mel1979 - I hope you are feeling better soon Huge  to you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help?!?!
Jen805 - It is extremely hard at the moment. I hope one day that we get to have a blessing of another baby whom we can love as much as we love Zachary.
MaternalBride - Sorry about your BFN. I understand how you are feeling as I had a BFN a few weeks ago. AF arrived the day before I was due to test - I was devastated!
Me - I am feeling very edgy as Zachary would have been 5 months old on Christmas Eve. As it draws closer I am getting more and more uptight. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to get through. My temporal arteritis results are still at 25 (still high but not dangerous) so no steroid treatment at this stage - YAY!!!!
I am trying to work out my next O phase but I keep stressing that I am going to miss it. I am so scared I will make a mistake and we will miss our window of opportunity. This waiting game is a mind killer and a soul destroyer!
 and :comfort:

Good morning to all my wonderful BB friends!!!
I realized looking back thru last night's post that I failed to mention at least 3 people! My list of names is getting so long, and I haven't updated it lately, so there's lots of circles and arrows for those that have moved over to the BFP list. Still no excuse, I know... so very sorry to TY, Emmanue, & MaternalBride!! *hugs* Will make sure to never exclude you girls again! Sorry if there's anyone else I've missed!!
Also, AJC, (in case you're lurking)--I'm so very happy for you that you'll be getting to enjoy Samuel's first Christmas with him 1 year early this year, given that he had an early introduction to the world! I hope that you're resting and healing comfortably, and are able to be home with Samuel before Christmas! Big  for you both!!
HannahD--I think there were a few times that some tranquilizers would've done me a world of good throughout this whole ordeal! How sad for your Grandma, tho, to experience her losses without the type of support that we get here on BB! There are some definite advantages to technology! I would also love to give your boss a hug! Not very many people (especially a man) would be so supportive and understanding! I'm glad he gave you a reason to smile! *hugs*
Mel--Wish I could give you this  in real life instead of cyberspace!
Acria--My prenatals have B6 in it, as well, but would still recommend the extra dose! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!! My O pains always come before I O, but I think I've read that you can also have them a day or two after you O. I say keep up with the :bd: until you know for sure! Do you temp, too? I tried for 2 months after my m/c to keep track of my cycle based on the way my body felt, and by my CM/CP. But my body was so screwy, I gave up and began temping. It's crazy how once you chart for a few cycles, you can practically predict when you're going to O just by watching your temps. Will be thinking of you and saying extra  for strength on Christmas Eve! *hugs*
MaternalBride--So sorry about your BFN. I know that feeling of disappointment oh so well.... *hugs* Is it possible that maybe you just tested too early? Keeping you in my prayers--it's not over 'til AF comes knocking!
Theresa--Glad to hear you got good results and don't need the steroid treatments. What happens next as the results are still high? Will they do any other type of testing or treatment? Keep your chin up, hon... I can't imagine how hard this is for you, but please know we're all here to support you thru this!
smi--Yay for a short work week! :hooray: Hope that doesn't mean you've got twice the work load! Are you feeling better this morning, or are you getting what you wished for?
-
jen...I am definitley getting a dose of what I wished for! I feel so sick I could puke everywhere...yet I am so hungry I feel like I could eat an entire cow...

Hello to all the Mum's and Mum's to be,
I joined belly belly a while ago now but just haven't been able to really talk about what I was going thru until now. I am the 35 year old mum a gorgeous 6 year old boy and his wish to santa was to have a baby brother or sister. I fell pregnant Sept '08 and November '08 at my 12 week check up found out quite heartlessly that my baby had died at 8 weeks. It was the most gut wrenching feeling, what made it worse was that the sonographer who informed me, was so matter of fact and I had to continue to lay on the table while she finished the exam. You have to wonder where some people get there social skills.
So now I am trying again after a D&C and crossing fingers and toes that what most people say is true, that after a d&C you tend to fall pregnant quickly. I love reading the threads on here they give so much hope and also in some way comfort knowing I am not the only one. So thank you to all the girls who post on here and here's hoping that all of us TTC are blessed with the most precious gifts.

Huge hugs "caleb's mum"
Well Af is here and I'm in pain. I'm gutted. The vit b6 did little-to-nothing for my luteal phase. Went from 9 to 10 days...

Maternalbride - Im so sorry af reared her ugly head  I had problems with my hormones at various times in my cycle and my periods were far too long. I struggled with it for a long time and am convinced it caused my 3 chemical pg'cys. Last month I tried taking macca powder to sort out my cycles and see if it helped my hormones and not only did it sort out my hormones but I fell pg....and so far so good  You can get it at any health food store, it comes in powder and capsules, but I took the powder, which although tastes disgusting, works quicker because your digestive system does not need to break down the capsule, it goes through the blood stream much faster. Of course I cannot be sure that the macca powder was the reason I fell pg, but I was advised to take it about 9 months ago by another lady on here who started taking it and fell pg straight away (and gave birth to a little girl a few weeks ago), after suffering from the same problems as me. I should have taken it a long time ago, but had kind of forgotten about it. Worth a try anyway! GL!
Smi - YAY for the morning sickness... I thought I was going to escape it up until a couple of days ago when I started feeling nauseas, and then this morning it was a race down the hallway to the closest sink, bucket or toilet...this morning it happen to be the kitchen sink! YUCK. Although I felt soooo much better once I had actually thrown up. Anyway I hope it keeps going...its a good sign.......and you did ask for after all ;)
Jen - Hi hun....Have you by any chance tried the macca powder..might be worth a go?
Sorry for lack or persies at the moment ladies but im off for more family christmas bbq's. The lead up to christmas is far more hectic than the actual day!
Merry christmas everyone...and of course a happy new year! May all of your dreams come true.
Issy

Thank you for the Hugs MaternalBride... I am sorry AF has arrived :( I am crossing my fingers she doesn't visit me but I think she will. I will cross my fingers for you MB.. take care *hugs*

Hi Calebs mum and Welcome - Though I know it feels awful to have to be in this place!
I was just thinking how weird it is that everyone doesnt want their AF to show up (and I totally understand the reason why!) when I can't wait for ot to come so I can TTC again! Its been nearly 9 weeks since the D&C and still no AF. I rung the gyn yesterday and had a progesterone test which was only 2.5! so I have to pick up a prescription for the pill tomorrow. He said to take a pill twice a day for ten days then stop it, then AF should arrive and then start clomid on day 3! I cannot believe I am being put back on the pill to regulate my cycle! I wish my body would just "do" the right thing!
Anyways, I have to say that at least now Ill be doing something, not just waiting and waiting!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and is able to get through the festive season without too much sadness even though I know how difficult it's gonna be for all of us!
Zachary's mum - The only way that I can think of to make sure you don't "miss your chance when ovulating" is to do it all the time!!! hehehe
-
Hi Erybery,
Thank you for the welcome :)... I think for those of us who have had kids we think it will never happen to us and for those who have been trying without success they wonder why. But it is so nice to have a community like this where we can support be sounding boards for each other. I know I thought no one else could or would understand but the girls on here do.
Good luck with the "pill" I will be looking forward to the day you can post BFP again :)
*hugs* and merry christmas to you

Hey Ladies,
I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fabulous new year!
Eat, drink and be merry!!
:birthday2:
Love to you all!

Firstly - Welcome Caleb's Mum. Sorry for your loss. Everyone here is great and have been so helpful and supportive for me. It has made my journey a lot easier to deal with.
erybery - Hope everything works out and goes well for you. For once I will hope AF arrives for you! It is a good thing we have a few days off work over Christmas and in the New Year! DP and I will be really busy (WWNN). We have Christmas Day and then a week in January so :ttc: for us.
MaternalBride - so sorry AF turned up.
Jen805 - At this stage there is no treatment, I just have to put up with the severe headaches (they have given me a prescription for Panadeine Forte but I haven't got them yet as I don't want to take any chances for TTC). As long as the levels don't go over 50, I can carry on as I am. I am happy to have the headaches as long as I don't have to have steroids!
Mel1979 - to you too.
I know I haven't been much in the Christmas spirit but I do want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and all tyhe best for dreams coming true on 2009.
Theresa xx

Merry Christmas Eve to all my mates in Aussie!! Hope you all have a blessed Christmas!! :grouphug:
smi--Hello my new facebook friend! :) Hope you're enjoying your Christmas Eve Eve! Oh, I remember that sick yet starving feeling so well! Eat up--that's probably what will make you feel better!
Caleb's mom--:welcome: I'm so sorry for the loss of your angel baby! I pray you find :comfort: and support among the girls here... we all know and understand your grief! I'm so sorry to hear about the inconsiderate u/s tech you had--people like that shouldn't be allowed to work in a profession where they have to be empathetic to other people's feelings! Big *hugs* for you, hon!
Maternal Bride--Grr! So sorry to hear about AF! Were you taking extra B6, or just what's in your supplements? And did you take it for the whole cycle, or just part of it? I want to say that I take an extra 150 mg on top of what's already in my prenatals (can't say for sure, I'll wake DS up if I go check!) and it has helped me quite a bit. Sorry again, hon...
issy--No, I've never tried the macca powder... may have to check into it now, thanks! *hugs* and :stickyvibesgirl:
erybery--Hope the pill helps to regulate your cycle! Wishing you the best of luck and sending lots of AF vibes your way!!
fifi--Happy holidays to you!! *kiss* Sending lots of Christmas :bellyrubs:
Theresa--Wish I could give you this  filled with the festive holiday spirit to help make this holiday season a little easier for you! Hope your headaches get better, too!
-
jen - look at u with ur xmas coordinated colours - lol!!! At a time when it's hard to get into the christmas spirit, I guess every little thing helps... good on you love.
For those who know that this christmas means more than just christmas - ie. lots of :bd:, i do so hope that your miracles start very soon.
I truly wish that, somewhere at this Christmas time, there are some feelings of happiness and hope for everyone here for the coming year of 2009. While there is life there is hope, please don't ever give up ladies - take time out where required - but never give up hope. Along with happiness and hope, i just want to sprinkle Christmas dust of strength, courage and positivity.
Love to you all and remembering each and every one of you during this festive (and sometimes difficult) season. :loveshower:
