tocarra - Glad the headaches have gone away and you're feeling more relaxed.
issy - Glad all is going well.
erybery - Sounds like you could do with a . Sorry AF hasn't shown yet. I've switched gears and am sending AF vibes your way in hope she arrives soon. Its so great we have this place where people "get it", isn't it?
fifi - Yay for growth!
maternalbride - Good luck with the new job.
Indy - Thinking of you!
smi - When those symptoms start, I'm sure we'll all be happy to remind you how much you wanted them. :stickyvibesgirl:
HannahS - :crossfingers: that your TWW ends with a BFP.
TY - Sending AF vibes your way too. Hope she shows before Christmas.
plc - Only 9 days to go. Wow! I can't believe it already.
WTH - Hoping you O soon if you haven't already.
Theresa - Sorry you've been in the hospital. I hope you get well soon and don't have to have steroids. And thankyou for your kind words last night.
tutmae - Glad everything is going perfectly. Oh and please don't feel you can't share your good news with us. You, fifi, krystie, jenushka, plc, ajc and all the other pg girls are our hope. I love hearing how well things are going.
Mel - I'm so glad you have turned a corner and are feeling more positive. There's no rule on how long it takes to heal, but I'm glad you're beginning to. I, too, am trying to focus on enjoying this time with DH. If we have our way, it won't just be the two of us for much longer. Then it will never just be the two of us again. to you sweet and :goodluck: with the BT results.
jenushka - 14 weeks already?! Where does the time go? I'm so glad that everything is going well.
jen - I can't believe that woman you met at the party! And the universe saw fit to give her not one but two children, and take ours away? Okay, I'm taking a deep breath now...no use getting upset by things over which we have no control. Hope all is well with you.
tempus - Thankyou for the hug. Thats exactly right, I need understanding. All of us here do. And yet, so often I feel I have to be the understanding one.
megsmum - Sorry its been so scary, but I'm so glad your little one is okay and that all is as it should be.
AFM - I'm feeling better today. Am working from home today so that I don't have to deal with people at all. Got an email from my cousin and she said that the problem with sms or email is that you don't get a tone of voice or body language and misunderstandings happen. Well duh! Thats why it was important for us to meet in person in the first place. I'm just annoyed because she was the one who asked to catch up and then said it was too hard but used my feelings (or what she thought were my feelings) as her excuse.
Sorry, wasn't planning on another tirade. Suffice it to say that I won't be talking to her for a while.
As for TTC, I'm a bit concerned. I'm CD15 and I've had no O pains yet. I usually get them on day 12 or 13. Oh well, I'm not going to worry too much. I was convinced I was pg last cycle and that wasn't the case, so I can't rely entirely on my body. DH did suggest I start charting, but I don't want to get more obsessed than I already am.
-
Fistly, thank you girls for your AF vibes, she showed up this morning and will finish before my xmas trip to Brampton island so that I can swim again!
Another good news is that I just received a xmas present from my husband, it's a return flight to Hong Kong, this is the best present ever! But unfortunately he couldn't go with me due to work reasons, I'll go with a friend instead. So, I might have to wait until Feb to try again.
The best news today is that I spoke to my manager about the holiday leave, she's happy for me to take it. Then I spoke to her about working part time or working from home when I fall pregnant next time, and surprisely she's also happy for me to do that as she understands the fear I am having even she never had a child.
Thanks again for your support!
-
Hi everyone,
TY - Glad AF showed up so you can go and enjoy your holiday! A ****tail by the pool at Brampton Island sounds very nice......
HannahD - Think maybe having time out from your cousin is a good idea. This journey is stressful enough without other people adding to it. You need to be selfish and think of yourself and your own well being. Feel free to tirade any time :) As for your O day, I am not the right person to ask! I was convinced I was pregnant last month and I had a 35 day cycle when usually they are around 30 days and I o on CD22 5 days later than normal. Or so I think. I am over second guessing my body as I seem to always be wrong. As for charting, I started 4 cycles ago (I needed something to give me hope) but I found it made me obsess. I used to stress and be disappointed when we hadn't BD at the right time and also if we did and I started to get all these symptoms I would get my hopes up. It's completely up to you but I have felt relieved since I stopped. In saying that though it gave me renewed hope and something to focus on at a time I really needed it. Sorry if I have confused you more?
AJC - Congratulations (if you happen to be lurking anytime soon!).
Megsmum - Sorry to hear you have been stressed, I can only imagine. But great news about the scan and the size of your little one. It is very exciting at the same time. I know what you mean about the HCG levels, I think they can add to your stress. When I fall pg I'm not sure I want to know mine. :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
MaternalBride - for an early Christmas present for you and your DH!
Jen - How about that woman at your party (I would say lady but don't think the description fits!). Why, why, why???
Theresa - OMG, I can't believe your friend said that. I'm glad you have us to talk to now.
Hi to Jenushka, plc, mannie, toccara, tutmae, tempus, issy, indy, babymiracles, WTH, smi and everyone else! :grouphug:
AFM - Called the FS today and my test for Lupus came back negative - woo hoo! He tested for a few other things as well (I'm shocking at remembering!) but everything came back clear.
I am having another prog level test next month and will also get DH chromosones checked (mine are all ok) but apart from that it looks like we are good to go (unless the lap finds something). I dunno, maybe it's just a matter of timing?
Anyway, stressing about it won't make it happen any faster. I am still trying to be Zen ;)
-
I am so glad I have you guys to talk to. I don't know how I would have coped the last few months without all your support. So a huge big thank you from me to you all.
I have been in such a bad mood today and I don't know why. I feel like I normally do when AF is about to start but it has just finished yesterday and I have been really irritable and snappy. What is wrong with me?!?!?!?!
-
Good Morning Gurlies!
megsmum...I soooo get how you're feeling about the m/s and "magical" 12 weeks. Take care of you & bub!
jen...I KNOW you will have no problem reminding me...your brain does not forget anything! LOL BTW...thanks to you for the Christmas card...for some reason you guys got my address but I didn't get any addresses...I have them for next year though.
MO3B...Thank you for the Christmas card also. Hope all is well...
Mel...That is WONDERFUL news!
plc...thanks for the AJC update...blessings to her and her new bub! Yours is coming quick...
To everyone who said yes they will remind me...thanks...I think
Have a wonderful day ladies!

Thanks, plc, for sharing the news of AJC's birth!! You're right--I would definitely prefer to know--AJC is a huge supporter of not only this thread, but ME since March! I'm over the moon for her! It sure was tricky finding the birth announcement, tho!
Congrats again, AJC, on the birth of your beautiful son, Samuel!! :bluecheer:
Will be back later for the rest of persies!
-
Wow...I have searched and searched...how on earth do you get to the announcement?
-
Nevermind...found it...

Hi All
Just thought I'd pop in and say :hello:
:welcome: to all the newbies. I'm so sorry that you've had to join in this thread, but it's a great place to be. You'll find so much support in here. The girls have great big shoulders to lean on and an endless supply of tissues for those UGLY cries that we all have had.
To all of my pg friends :bellyrubs: and :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: (Smi - hope that ms doesn't treat you too bad when it turns up - or you could be really lucky and get none)
To everyone TTC - I hope that your journey is short and your dreams and prayers come true :pink-babydust::bluedust:. Here's some :noaf: vibes for all of you.
I'm still lurking and it's good to see some good news coming through this thread with a few BFP's this month and some special little bubs making their way into the world. Congratulations AJC on the birth of Samuel. PLC - won't be long now and it's your turn.
Anyway, I'd better get started on cleaning the bathroom YUK before I start work for the day.

MaternalBride: IKWYM--I've found myself suddenly surrounded by pregnant ladies after a miscarriage, and no, it's not fun. Not at all. Sending cyberhug
jen805: Yeah, I'm hanging in there. The bleeding started in earnest today, and I'm having cramps, but it's good to come on this site and talk to people who can relate to what I'm going through.
megsmum: thanks. sending extra :stickyvibesgirl: and
plc1805: how wonderful for AJC!
HannahD: I hope things work out with you and your cousin. Maybe she needs to "grow up" a little bit.
And actually, charting might help you feel more centered--if you're measuring your temps, then you know when you ovulated without guesswork. Just a thought.
TY: so glad you had good news for once--you really needed it!
Mel1979: glad your tests came back okay. :crossfingers:
Zachary's Mom: Nothing is wrong with you--you're grieving and worried and that's all perfectly normal. Be very kind to yourself. Sending cyberhug.
mollycat: good to hear from you!

Trying to conceive
I decided to join this forum because I feel like I can not talk to anyone about this. I am 34 years old. Other than my husband, no one knows I miscarried (not family, not friends). I'm ashamed. I got pregnant around Oct 4, 2008 (conceived on first try) and had a miscarriage. I was about 5 1/2 weeks. It was a natural miscarriage (no D&C). I already had a period after the miscarriage, so my husband and I decided to ttc again right away. I ovulated around 12/5/08. We had sex on 12/3 (lh surge detected by clearblue), 12/4, 12/5 and 12/7. On 12/15 my breast strarted feeling alot fuller (haven't felt like this since I was 15) and my nipples got really sore. However, the sore nipples only lasted a couple of days. Now my breasts are still full, but no sore nipples. I was really hoping I conceived. My period is due on 12/22 and I took pregnancy test, but negative. I know it may still be too early to tell if pregnant, but since the soreness stopped and my breast haven't gotten bigger (which was the case during the last pregancy) I'm assuming I'm not preg. Does anyone know why my breast would feel so full if I am not pregnant? How long does it take to conceive after a miscarriage?
-
Emmanue, I am sorry for your loss but you've come to the right place, I found a lot of support here.
In regards to the soreness of your breasts, I think it's completely normal to get that before your period is due, I always do. However, I really hope that you are pregnant now as breast soreness is also a sign of pregnancy, just wait few more days to do another test and let us know the results.
Good luck!
-
Emmanue - Im very sorry to hear of your loss and you have definately come to the right place for support. Everyone in here understands what you are going through and the rollercoaster emotions of ttc, and thats what we are here for, to support to eachother and guide eachother through when we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel...and truth be told, sometimes that tunnel can be long and tiring, but we all have faith and hope that a light is there, somewhere in the distance  As for your question about how long it takes to conceive again after m/c, that question is very hard to answer. Some women are able to conceive straight after a m/c and go on to have healthy and happy babies....others have to wait much longer for their bodies to recover. Each time I have had a chem pg (very early loss) it has taken me nearly 6 months to conceive again. My last chem pg was in June this year and now I am finally pg again, but this one is not a chem pg....thankgod. We are all very different and unfortunately we just cannot predict how long it will be for our bodies to recover. I  that you did just test too early and that you are infact pg. GL on you ttc journey and welcome to our wonderful thread.
Tempus - I completely understand how you feel about being surrounded by pg women. For many years I have seen so many women around me fall pg and I couldnt help but fee very jealous and even resentful towards them. I dont think it was because I was a mean person and I certainly never let them know that was how I felt, but inside I was so upset....I kept thinking...WHY NOT ME? Its very hard, I completely understand.
Smi - So glad to see your ticker moving along nicely. How lovely for you. And dont panic about the symptoms, you may be just one of the lucky ones who doesnt have any at all...im sure there would be many jealous women out there who wish they too did not have any..especially morning sickness. I am one of those people who do not suffer from many symptoms, apart from sore breasts...I have never had morning sickness and so far with this one, none to report. Dont worry too much hun...sometimes symptoms come a little later....maybe they are stil on their way!
I finally found AJC's birth announcement last night and even though I wrote on the thread, I just wanted to write in here as well....CONGRATULATIONS AJC ON THE EARLY ARRIVAL OF SAMUEL....im sure he is just lovely and we cannot wait to see pictures of him. He is also a great weight for 5 1/2 weeks early...you grow them big AJC! My DS was that size at term! Good on you darling...:confetti::confetti::confetti:
Sorry ladies, I wanted to write more persies but DS wants breakfast so ill bbl for more. Just wanted to say I have reached a very small milestone...I have reached 6 weeks which I never have since DS....im still praying everyday though...
Issy

I know that this isn't exactly AJC's birth announcement thread, but it just feels right to congratulate her in here! :D Sooo....
Huge congratulations to you AJC on the birth of your wonderful son Samuel!!!
To everyone else, keep your chins up during this festive season. I know that sometimes it can be hard, but you are all wonderful, strong woman, and each and every one of you deserve to have a great time this christmas. Take care all!
And finally, my beautiful PLC! The days are speeding closer and closer and I imagine that your getting more and more excited (and nervous!). I'm am so happy for you and can't wait for you to hold your baby girl in your arms. And once your settled back in and back on your feet again, we'll have to catch up so I can practice holding a baby ;) Much love to you sweetness!!!
-
First of all, congratulations of AJC on the birth of her baby boy Samuel.
TY - Yay for AF arriving and still allowing you to enjoy your holiday. Your DH and boss seem very supportive. Enjoy the trip to Hong Kong!
Mel - Thanks for the advice, as confusing as it was . But I understood. You pretty much summed up what was concerning me though. I don't think I will start temping just yet. I feel calmer this month. I think I just really, really wanted to be pregnant by Christmas and now thats not an issue, I can relax a little more. Glad the test results all came back OK - at least thats a list of things ruled out.
Theresa - Nothing is wrong with you. If its any consolation, I'm grumpy a lot of the time too (my poor DH). Hmm, on second thoughts maybe thats not much of a consolation at all. Will stop trying to help now and just offer you a big . Just remember you always have us when you feel the need to let it all out.
smi, mollycat & jen - :hello:
tempus - Thinking of you
emmanue - I'm sorry for your loss. You've come to the right place for support. I can't really answer your questions. Sore nipples can occur before AF or as a symptom of pregnancy. It may well have been too early to test. I am concerned that you said you feel ashamed of your previous m/c. I can understand not wanting to tell people. Some people say the stupidest things, but sometimes people surprise you and you find support in the most unlikely places. It is difficult to tell people you were pregnant and are no longer. But that is nothing to be ashamed, guilty or embarrassed about. Please take care of yourself
issy - Congrats on reaching the first milestone. for another 34 weeks.
Hi and *hugs* to everyone else
:bluedust::stickyvibesgirl:
-
CONGRATULATIONS TO AJC ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR :stork-boy: SAMUEL Couldn't happen to a sweeter gal :happyforyou:
Issy - congratulations to you to on your significant milestone.
PLC, Jenushka, Tutmae and KrystieLove - thanks for sticking around an supporting the girls here. We need you lovelies ;)
Smi - :stickyvibesgirl: You're going great!
Jen - Furious to read about that stupid cow you met at that party. So undeserving. Just as bad as those selfish parents who smoke in their cars with children. That sort of stuff really gets my goat up!!
TY - Hong Kong? You lucky girl. Gonna shop 'til you drop?
Mollycat, Mel, HannahD -:hello:
Indy, Tempus, Theresa, Erybery, Maternal Bride -
Megsmum - Hello my friend. Congratulations on the MS - I know you want it! Now go and give your tummy a rub for Aunty WTH x
Emmanue - sorry for your loss. I know that in a few non-pregnant months this year I have experienced stronger PMS symptoms than I used to, ie: sorer breasts, headaches, tiredness and even mild nausea. I think the PG may mess a little with our hormones, or perhaps make us more in tune than we used to be. Hopefully you will be PG, though! You can conceive as soon as you ovulate after a MC, which for some ladies can be two weeks after.
AFM - AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! These OPKs are driving me bonkers! Been having a 60% nearly there line for days and days! this is not an annovulatory cycle. Am temping. Coverline may appear Sunday saying it happened on Wednesday, but the line has not got any darker or lighter. BD marathon has become a big bloomin' unromantic chore. Gonna take the night off tonight!
OK. Rant done. Back to you all...
Have a great weekend everyone. Spreading a truckload of :bluedust: over this very special thread.
-
AJC Congratulations on the birth of your son Samuel!!!!
