Hey Toccara! Long time no talk to! Welcome back!
Hey jen jen  ...
Hello- Toccara, How are you doing
Wow a new thread - and already on its second page
Here's a few :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: for our :bellygrowing: friends.
And here's some :pink-babydust::bluedust: for those who are TTC.
I'm all alone again this weekend - the boys are off camping again. So I've done quite a bit of retail therapy this morning, now i'm home hiding before I spend any more. Tomorrow I have a conference for day care. I really should be ripping out the rest of the walls, but still need to move a cupboard and some toys that i've stored in that room, ...... maybe later.
Next weekend DS2 is off to a competition for school - it's held at the university against other schools in the area. They competed last year and are back in again, so it'll be interesting to see how they go this year.
Ruthie - want to send some of that heat over here - it's so cold - i'm sitting here with the heater on, looking for keyboard and mouse warmers.
Jen - I totally wrecked your mirror image chart this morning. Sorry. Hopefully in a few days it will jump up the other end of the scale. Don't like those - signs on your chart. We need to work on your force field again.
Fifi - Boo to your doctors surgery and all the best with your appointment on tuesday.
where is everybody...... it's so quiet in here.
Molly- Sorry your alone again this weekend and the boys are out having fun without you camping. I have never been camping. All that work your doing shouldn't spending some money do some pampering for ya? Common if the men can go out so can you :P. What is DS competition of? Like what do the schools compete against?
BabyFever - actually I don't mind them going camping without me. I enjoy my home comforts too much - running water, heat, comfy bed, etc, etc. I'm just feeling a little lonely for some reason this time. They actually have a brick cabin they have set up as a home away from home - much better than the tents we used to take.
DS2's competion is called "Tornument of the Minds" he is only in primary school (in Australia) the ages in his group are from 9-12. There are four different areas he is in the language/literature group it's for gifted and talented students. They are given a scenario and have to work on it themselves (with no adult help at all), come up with a script to perform in a 10 minute time limit - with no props - unless they make them all themselves and it has to be performed in a 3x3 metre space. On competition day they are also sent into a closed room with judges, given another scenario and given two minutes to come up with an answer and present it to the judges. I don't totally understand what it is, but this year it's on shakespeare. The kids have had about 5 weeks to work something out, they work a little bit during school hours and for about 45 minutes after school twice a week. Not sure if that explains it well enough for you. I'm totally confused with what they do.
Yeah sometimes having a bed to self is quite nice. Though I'm actully alone alot with DH working out of state alot so thats why I'm always like that sucks..
Wow, That sounds like your DS is going to be quite busy for a few weeks and be having fun with all that, and wow Shakespere, that will be something that will really keep him on his toes. Thats neet how we have thigns that are so differant game wise and everything. Glad you explained cuz I was like hmm. I learn something new everyday.
Right now I'm just watching my youngest play with her floatation divice for swimming cuz we went a few hours ago, I think she wants to go again cuz she wouldnt go to sleep. So shes walking around and sitting on it, It squeeks so she likes to hop on it .. lol. lots of energy my oldest is with her biological father..
What you do today?
lots of boring mundane stuff - the cars were up for re-registration - so went and paid for them - it's quite painful - we have two cars due for registration within days of each other, so it's a lot of money to pay out all at once, bought a couple of things I really didn't need and came home, had a phone call with my sister for about an hour (she lives about 9 hours away - so don't see her very often). I'm sitting here looking at the room I need to finish ripping the walls out of, trying to get up enough energy to do some more. SOMEONE'S got to do it, and I know DH won't (got to keep him home long enough first)
Wow, does sound like a busy one. I feel you on trying to get up and do things I had 2 lazy days, Today I did rearrange the APT. And "tried" Do do laundry only got like half done.. ROFLMAO... I have two kids walking now, My youngest just started and she likes to demolish my nice neat piles of folded clothes.. lol. So I get fusterated and just put up what I have done let the others sit for weeks lol..
Thats good you got to talk to your sis for awhile. Hopefully you guys had a good time chatting. It sucks when you have someone so close live far away..
I had a micarrage a few weeks ago at 6 weeks 1 day, And they did a series of blood work one was a MTHFR test - Theres a sticky on the top of this area in the main area that has a list of what they usually test for. I don't remember the others I know one was that there was like 10 she did. Well, they just got them back & she called said that I needed to come in and see one of the physitiens in the office (her office).. Not my normal family pysition. Pardon spelling. So, I'm freaked out I have the APT on Tuesday at 10:30am. And, I'm just terrified. I'm scared to have any surgerys. OR to do injections. I was looking up the MTFR thing and if you have it they make you take extra folate acid, and then Heperine Shot..
mollycat--Never thought of using the force field on myself! That must be the problem!! Maybe then I wouldn't have all those - signs either!
Retail therapy always sounds like fun! Hope you enjoy your quiet time while DH and boys are out doing their "manly" camp outing! DS2's competition sounds like a lot of fun--sounds like too much work for my brain! I would probably fail miserably at "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"
Babyfever--:goodluck2: with your BT's!
Thank you Jen, How are you doing today? Seem a little quite today on the fourms.
Aww, I was in chat all bymyself
