Well, I have sooo much to catch up on - it has been v busy in here!
SP - great to hear from you - I was starting to wonder where you were! Good luck for the appointment on Thurs, I hope it all goes well. That is a good idea to get the drug but only take it after AF arrives, and then you will be well on your way to a bub!! I'm glad that your cycle seems to be back to normal. So sorry to hear about your friend's baby - that is awful. It does make you wonder sometimes why such awful things happen. Pregnyl is a drug that can be taken to make you O, or, as in my case, taken after O to support the lining and keep it nice and healthy so a bub has time to implant. It is essentially pg hormone that boosts your progesterone, and it means I can't do an HPT, as it will come up positive due to the injections, so the clinic will get me to do a BT in a couple of weeks and will then tell me if I am pg. It's all so confusing!
jane - yay on setting a wedding date! That's great and you are going to be one v busy girl!!
bek - good luck for your scan tomorrow - I am sure all will go well
belinda - yay on O'ing and getting the timing right! Best of luck this cycle - if it works out for both of us this month, we will be due on the same day!!
Shan - how are you going?
Hope - thanks for popping in and sending us some babydust! I have been checking up on you too and am amazed at how fast your pg is going!
Sharon - sorry AF has been so horrid, I am glad she is on her way out now. I had a long scrapbooking night on Sat too, only just gotten into it and I love it! Re the eyes - I am -5 in one eye and -5.5 in the other, so I am pretty blind too! And the supposedly 'breathing' contacts still don't work on my eyes!
Diane - welcome and sorry to hear about your loss. It is a really difficult thing to go through and I hope we can help you through this time .
Alex - so glad you have stopped bleeding finally - yay!!
Tonners & mummyto1 - congrats!!!
las - thanks for your comments re the injections. It really is so overwhelming, but now that I have had time to get my head around everything and have had my first injection, it really isn't that bad. I'm glad you don't have long til your FS appointment.
satya - thanks for the info re pregnyl. Now that I have had a chance to research it, it looks like it probably is a good one for me to be on, as I don't really need clomid (and by the sounds of it, could do without the nasty side effects!). Sorry you have had such a nasty AF, I'm glad you are feeling better now. Not long now til your appointment.
Hi to everyone else.
Well, I had to get another BT on Sat, and the clinic phoned later that day and said I was about to O and to have my first injection, and 'have intercourse', on Sat, Sun and Mon. I am pretty sure I O'ed on Sat, so we have been busy over the weekend lol!! The injection really wasn't that bad, it just seems like such a big deal having to mix the ampoules together and do it ourselves, but DH was pretty cool about it. Everytime I nag him about something he goes 'when do I get to jab you next?' with a wicked grin on his face! Evil man!! So I guess all we can do now is wait. Apparently I will get in the mail a couple of BT forms to get done over the next couple of weeks, and if it doesn't work, then we are on to clomid next cycle. I am still afraid I will m/c again, but I suppose I feel a bit more hopeful now than I did before.
