Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage/Loss April/May 2009

Thanks heaps flowerchild! and everyone else who have given their wisdom. My EDD is the 21st may. Like some of you have said the leading up to the day is hard, which is happening to me right now especially because I keep thinking - when would it have arrived? so thanks heaps. I really like the Christmas bauble idea as when I am celebrating my first bubs cirst christmas it would be nice for the angel Ive lost to have a bauble next to it because it also would have been its first Christmas!
Just wish the pain would end...

VERY Hormonal today, everyone is ****ting me Brother doesn't have money for joint mothers day gift for our mum, Partner is going to the other side of the state on Friday after our FET and doesn't see anything wrong with it. Grrrrrr if they only thought like us for one moment, how nice it would be to just spend the day together. He hasn't been at any transfers because of work and now he has a day off he's busy.... AHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HH :doh:

Mum is a pain in the but always with the can you can you can you......... My sister inlaw is just a Suger Honey Ice Tea, and so annoying.......

But the boys (my two nephews are great) 'breath' think happy pink bubbles............

Guess who arrived!!!!! RB........:crying: so i was either never ( as this is quite early for my AF my cycle should be 31 days ) or I have another angel ....I will never know.

Today has just been #$@! I have had to deal with men that all they want to do is ***** and try to rally up a army of troops through direct insults at others and then I had another hang up on me....He does this everytime he rings and I am just about to Crack with him. I never raise my voice at him yet he insults me by calling names and then just talks over anything i try to say and then he just hangs up gggrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhh.:wall::wall::wall:
The tonight we had my sons first union game and one of the mums had her 5 week old son there. SHe is really nice and asked if I wanted a hold and I declined she kept insisting and again I said no... he was hungry and she was trying to draw the feed time out so she was trying to palm him off so he wouldn't smell here...I understood. I sort of palmed him off to another mum. I don't wnat to tell her about our angel . I am very proud of myself though as after having such a crap day and then the offer of a baby the afternoon I got RB and I didn't publicly cry. :clap:

Anyhow I am back again cycle buddies!!!! Back in the game for a possible February baby :o the month that it all fell apart for me and DH, and the anniversary month of when our beloved babt grew wings at 12 weeks and the month of the anniversary of the death of my previous partner and father of my children...I HATE FEBRUARY!!!!!!!.I HATE RB !!!!!!

Actually I just went into FF and pre calculated my due date and I would be due on the 5th of Feb but would go 2 - 4 weeks early so I guess i can handle that sob sob I just don't and can't handle anything else bad happening in February... Gee why do I do this to myself .:wall::wall:

Well I had a bit of a downer day today, i think it all dawned on me. But feeling a bit better now. I am definatly gonna do some tests if the hospitaland get some accupuncture again and i wasnt going to temp, but i am considering it again as it will help us prevent for twomonths and know my cycle sare on track when we do ttc again. good news is that my bleeding has pretty muched stopped now! Yay and so have the migranes, i have also been getting hot flushes at night, i guess from hormones??
I am sure i will start to feel myseklf again soon

Hi all,

Sorry i've been MIA for sooo long. I'm getting into the swing of motherhood, and i'm totally loving it!!! Charlie is just the best thing.

At the moment he and daddy are dancing and singing round the kitchen, for some stragne reason he seems to like daddy's singing?!?!?!?

Things are going absolutly perfectly! he is a little angel (apart from at night) he doesnt seem to settle very well, but i'm sure he will, jsut takes time.

Breastfeeding is going really well, he doesnt stop! Putting on weight a real treat, he now weighs 8lb 10oz. almost 1lb in a week!! Another bonus is that i've already got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight.....I've not even attempted to do anything about it yet, i'm enjoying little man too much! but the old jeans are back out :dance:

Sorry this is a me me me post, just want to pop in and let you know i'm still here and check on you all from time to time.

Sparkles - Im so glad you are feeling better. i have started up acupunture to get my body ready for another pregnancy, I have really liked it so far buts lets see what happens in a weeks or so...


Mrzbaby - Im so sorry you had such a rotten day. SO impressed with how you handled the other baby, I cant believe you did it with such class after such a crappy day, I would of fallen in a heap!

I think I can test on mothers day (any chart reading help would be great with when to test) and that scares the hell out of me. I think Im just making that focus but Im scared Im setting myself up for a double hit if Im not...

I am intrigued by all of your talk of accupuncture. I was thinking about going for some but sort of unsure what it is meant to do? If any of you want to share your knowledge I would love to hear more!

Teme - Funnily alot of us are using acupunture!I started because after my termination I wanted to make sure my uterus and body was physically ready for another pregnancy and also for a little bit of peace of mind. My baby had abnormalities so I also want to make sure all my energies are positive etc for the next pregnancy...
It has been know to allow your body to hold pregnancys and assited with fertility etc.
I am going to a chinese acuptunre doctor who specialises in fertility and is recomended by the fertility climnics near me, althoug I dont have any fertility issues I cant see that it wont help...
I love it but I think my a hippie at heart!!

For all those in the :2ww: im there with ya! So much frustration and disappointment. Im on day 17 of an irregular cycle, with a BFN today (tested only obviously to get my hopes up:wall:)
Looks like I might be testing early again on Mothers Day too Sally :doh: if RB hasnt shown her ugly mug by day 26. My first and only BFP came on day 24 of an irregular cycle on 27/1/09 (day after Australia Day-luckily i was very tame on the alcoholic beverages! My body must've known!) so we'll see. Wouldn't suprise me if its a BFN because it would just be my bloody luck! :ROFL:

Sally- In regards to when to POAS it all depends on when you O or when your AF (or is it RB now? I'm so confused!!) is due. Sometimes if you're lucky you can get an accurate result at around 10DPO, but it's best to wait until after AF is due, as to avoid any added stress- not that the extra waiting isn't stressful enough!! By the looks of it you o'd on Tues, so 10 days after that and you may be lucky, but I'd wait if you can.

Jen- If only there was a fist shaking smiley I'd be throwing it straight at the annovulatory reading! Sheesh!! Oh, and the email is through, baby!!

Teme- I actually did accupuncture when ttc my DD seeing as they said we needed ivf due to hubby who also got some accupuncture and chinese herbs, and well we fell naturally within a couple of month, who knows if it helped, but he was a fantastic man, who made us feel supported and gave us hope. So i am going to see him again and hopefully prepare my body with a few months rest for a nice warmhome for another haelthy baby ( gotta stay positive )

Sally - I am interested to see how it works for you, keep me posted if it changes your cycles etc again.
Well i have officially decided to chart again so i know when i o after th M/C and know when to be carwful as we need to have a break for a few months i might give hubby my thermometer whn i know i have o'd so its not so obbsessive mind you i wont be ttc so its not sooo exciting lol

fificlaire- I am so happy everything is going well for you!! Enjoy every second xo good work with the BF its hard work but so worth it xo

sally61-i also had an induced termination mine was at 19w5d due to abnormalities and i know how you feel i am trying to do everything possible to make my body healthy so next baby will be ok even though it was a gene fault i will try anything.


anyway i'm starting to pack house (which i hate) and this morning i had ferning on my maybe baby which like usual DH and i are working all weekend we BD last night and the night before i told poor DH we need to find time in the next couple of days to make sure we don't miss the day .

well i better go have to be at work in 15 min to all the ladies who i hav'nt mentioned im still getting the hang of this and keeping up with you all is going to be tough.

Hot coverline, baby! :clap: Fertile mucous can be present before and after O. Then, um, what was it.... oh, usually 12DPO is a safe day to test.... well ff says to wait until after RB is due, I can usually tell before 12DPO, based on symptoms. HTH!
